Not only did Bruce Ohr fail to disclose that Fusion GPS was paying his wife, but it appears he did not fully report the nature of the work performed in financial disclosure reports as required under Justice Department regulations. Willfully filing a false government report constitutes a crime under federal law – specifically 8 U.S.C. (United States Code) 1001.

It is also against the law to use a public official for personal financial gain. This runs afoul of the federal bribery and gratuity statutes (18 U.S.C. 201-b and 18 U.S.C. 201-c) and is a violation of the honest services fraud statute (18 U.S. C. 1346). These are serious felonies. Yet, there appears to be no known investigation of Ohr by the Justice Department, where he is still employed.

These crimes led to the special council. Where is the outrage? It's not there because political interests are being served by these crimes.

The Department of Justice has been hijacked.

Ohr admitted today that the fake dossier was used to get the FISA warrants, and they knew it was fake. Time to go to jail.

We also learned today Bruce Ohr was never interviewed by Mueller about the Russia investigation.

Mueller and Rosenstein have abandoned all semblance of respectability.

Hillary Clinton’s Emails, many of which are Classified Information, got hacked by China. Next move better be by the FBI & DOJ or, after all of their other missteps (Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, FISA, Dirty Dossier etc.), their credibility will be forever gone!

Where was the outrage when this whistleblower exposed what Stefan Halper was up to?

“The Pentagon suspended his top-secret security clearance May 1, 2017, when he exposed…” Listen to this: “…when he exposed through an internal review that Stefan Halper, who was then an emeritus Cambridge professor, had received roughly $1 million in taxpayer funded money to write Defense Department foreign policy reports… Before Lovinger’s clearance was suspended he had taken a detail to the National Security Council as senior director for strategy.
“He was only there for five months before he was recalled to the Pentagon, stripped of his prestigious White House detail, and ordered to perform bureaucratic make-work in a Pentagon annex…” The reason is he had uncovered Stefan Halper. Stefan Halper is one of the FBI’s embedded spies in the Trump campaign who had a direct relationship with George Papadopoulos — and it turns out much more. It turns out that Stefan Halper was one of the original culprits in all of this FBI-DOJ hoax or trumped-up frame job of Donald Trump.

What’s really interesting is that after both the Ohr and Page interviews the Republican members came out and proclaimed how cooperative they both were. That is clear code for “we got the info we wanted”. Strzok is in deep trouble as are many others concerning the FISA warrant and the handling of this investigation.

I heard that the Page and Ohr testimony's had conflicts in important timing. It's hard to coordinate lies, especially when the web of lies is this sophisticated.

Gohmert doubles down on Clinton server hack

It was the ICIG that discovered the breach of Clinton's server, not the FBI.

“It’s not surprising that the FBI ‘has not found any evidence’ regarding Clinton’s servers being breached,” Gohmert, R-Texas, said. “It was the Obama-appointed Intelligence Community Inspector General that discovered the breach. It was not the FBI that found it, so their statement was technically correct, but very deceptive in its omission.”

Remember

The reason Hillary gets off: remember when Obama went on TV and said Hillary was extremely careless - not criminal? It was not too long after that that Comey changed the outcome on Hillary to the careless verdict - not criminal. To indict Hillary would be to point the finger at Obama. Who do you think was behind the whole Russia hoax on Trump - Obama. Strozk admitted they had to let Obama know what was going on. A first black president could never be held accountable for what Hillary did or for the investigation into Trump.

This has gotten amazingly corrupt at the highest levels. Yet, Jeff Sessions is still MIA. Ohr testified that nobody in the FBI or DOJ expressed any interest in talking to him about his wife working for Fusian GPS (undeclared), his working around the firing of Steele and continuing to feed unverified Steele information into the FBI to use against Trump.

I've said this before. The entire leadership at the FBI should have been fired a year ago. Clean house!

Sessions

My neighbor down the street just told me he heard on Rush Limbaugh that Sessions offered his resignation in June, and Trump is just waiting till after the November elections to replace him.

Bruce Ohr claims to have warned the FBI about credibility issues with Steele and also Steele's bias against Trump. But the FBI ignored that and presented Steele as a credible witness to the FISC court.

And now, here we are.........

Mueller continued to receive information from Ohr + Steele, even after all of this was known.

Are we going to let the former leaders at the FBI get away with this?

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/...ad-anyway.html

This week’s news is that Mr. Ohr’s deliveries to the FBI came with a caveat. Congress already knew that Mr. Ohr had been aware of Mr. Steele’s political biases. In notes Mr. Ohr took of a September 2016 conversation with Mr. Steele, he wrote that the dossier author “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” Congressional sources tell me that Mr. Ohr revealed Tuesday that he verbally warned the FBI that its source had a credibility problem, alerting the bureau to Mr. Steele’s leanings and motives. He also informed the bureau that Mrs. Ohr was working for Fusion and contributing to the dossier project.

Mr. Ohr said, moreover, that he delivered this information before the FBI’s first application to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court for a warrant against Trump aide Carter Page, in October 2016. Yet the FBI made no mention of this warning in the application, instead characterizing Mr. Steele as a “reliable” source. Nor does the application note that a senior Justice Department official’s spouse was contributing to the dossier and benefiting financially from a document the FBI was using in an investigation. That matters both because the FBI failed to flag the enormous conflict and because Mr. Steele’s work product potentially wasn’t entirely his own.

They’re in big trouble if this is true. Hiding pertinent facts from a judge when presenting an affidavit to obtain a warrant is a big no no.

While it is regrettable that anyone would be taken into custody for a crime, even though they are truly innocent, this is a poor analogy to the subject of this thread.

This thread is about a colonoscopy directed at a conspiracy within the leadership of what should be an apolitical department of the government to change an election.

That is a world away from someone being illegally detained and then compensated for it.

Completely an apples and grapefruit comparison. Apparently, there was outdated info in the system that caused the unfortunate detection by ICE. This thread is about “intentional” collusion by high ranking officials in an attempt to damage a Presidential campaign.

Outdated information that they are acting on with a bit more "force" than would be warranted knowing that the data is bad, don't you think?

So you have proof that ICE agents are intentionally detaining people who they know are in fact US citizens? if not, then your argument is without merit.

So, it turns out that Bruce Ohr, who's wife was working for Fusian GPS, undisclosed to the FBI, and had no business in keeping a back channel open to Christopher Steele, who had already been caught lying to the FBI and fired, was feeding more unverified, Clinton purchased, Russian information to Andrew Weissmann, who would only months later, become one of the top investigators appointed by Mueller to prosecute Trump.

The same guys who were part of the set-up, later became the investigators......

Sit and stew on that for a while. How would you like to be investigated under the similar circumstances? This sounds like the justice system of a corrupted third world country.

The Mueller "investigation" is going to release it's findings soon, before the election. It will be a guide for the Democrats to impeach Trump in case the Democrats take the House. This has been the political goal of this set-up from the beginning.

Read the article. They detained a US Citizen for days. They have to know that the database is faulty as they've detained over 200 US Citizens.

As a libertarian, I believe detaining 1 or 2 citizens per month for no reason is a problem.

Disagree?

That’s some of the strangest logic I’ve read recently. So they shouldn’t detain anyone because the there are some errors in the database? They properly detain and deport many illegals every week. Your reasoning is like saying police shouldn’t ever arrest anyone because in the past there have been cases of mistaken identity due to errors in the system.

They know they are detaining US citizens, because they know they have a crappy/outdated database upon which they are acting.

Let's ask it this way. If you were one of the 200+ citizens detained for days, how would you feel?

Let's ask it this way. If you were one of the 200+ citizens detained for days, how would you feel?
So you’re position is no illegals should be detained or deported, correct? And for the record I wouldn’t feel very good if I was one of the 200 just like I wouldn’t feel very good if the local police detained me on a mistaken identity situation, but that doesn’t mean we should stop all law enforcement? Mistakes happen unfortunately, which is a far cry from the topic of this thread which is the intentional malfeasance of high ranking govt officials.

Being detained for several days at a time - as a US Citizen - for no reason - is a serious violation of our constitutional rights. I have a major issue with that.

I would do more than not feel good about it.

Let's see, it took a lawsuit to get anything - attorneys probably took 1/3, so he got $13-14k. The government isn't handing out $20,000 checks once they realize their "mistake".

About to Blow the Investigation Wide Open

The 20 pages Trump is about to redact have to do with the FISA Rosenstein signed off on. Declassification of these documents are going to blow the whole investigation open. The DOJ corrupt acts are going to be exposed. The truth will get into the hands of the American people.

Ohr is in legal jeopardy for illegal dealings with Steele, and Weisenstein (lead guy on Mueller's team) has been found out because Ohr was feeding him phony info to use against Trump. Then Weisenstein wound up on the investigation team of Trump. Mueller sees his investigation falling apart and that is why he is now offering Trump a few questions on obstruction that Trump can provide a written response to. Mueller wants to wind up the investigation because his band of merry thieves is being exposed.

Mueller will trumpet his actions on his indictments and give the liberals a statement that Trump's firing of Comey was suspicious - ammunition for the Democrats to pursue impeachment. Sessions and Rosenstein will wind up being fired per Greg Jarrett. Honest people need to be their replacements. There will be indictments on some of these thieves. Huber will collect the evidence for this to happen. When another attorney general is appointed, an investigation should ensue regarding Hillary's actions to get to the real truth.

I have to wonder how the Mueller investigation supporters are going to react when the curtain is pulled back on what happened with the FISA courts.

From the very beginning, they have made the case that this was a legitimate "investigation" and that anyone who challenged it's legitimacy was harming our governmental system. Attacking the actions of Comey was "un-American" in the view of some a few months ago. Now, it looks like he was quarterbacking a full-on coup d etat within the walls of the FBI.

It turns out that blind faith in our government is much more dangerous to our freedoms than a "trust but verify" attitude that demands transparency. Think about what the leadership of the intelligence agencies almost got away with. It's chilling.

You’re still missing the point. A mistake, which this was, versus an intentional act is comparing apples and grapefruits.

I disagree - intentionally using a faulty database (for 16 years) and knowing it is faulty is the for all intents and purposes - the same thing.

If you are striving for perfection before the government acts on anything, you will never act. Which would be worse? Just abandoning law enforcement altogether? If we know that the police will make mistakes in 1% of the arrests that they make, should we ditch law enforcement? You do the best you can with what you have for the common good. In this case, the victim was compensated for the inconvenience. I look at that as the system working pretty well.

Now, back to the people who need the real colonoscopy. The deep staters who abused their power to change an election and then attack a presidency.

This is the same argument I made. According to IAFlyer we shouldn’t have any law enforcement any more. It’s as bad as those who say we should abolish ICE.

I think that the mystery about Strzok's text concerning an "insurance plan" and the Page text that said,

"Are you even going to give out your calendars? Seems kind of depressing. Maybe it should just be the first meeting of the secret society."
are beginning to make a lot more sense. Ohr and his testimony are playing a very key role in understanding all of this by putting the pieces of the puzzle together. It's beginning to look like the whole crowd of Steele, Page, Weissman, Strzok, McCabe, Ohr and his wife Nelly are in real trouble.

I would now include Rosenstein and anyone who signed off on the FISA warrant applications.

If you want a preview of what is about to go down, read Sara Carters latest article.

How can it be that she is the only investigative journalist on this trail for the last 1.5 years? Because the MSM does not investigate this based on party politics.

House Republican lawmakers are also considering whether to recall former senior FBI leadership, including former deputy director Andrew McCabe and ex-director James Comey, in an effort to determine who authorized the communications between Ohr and Steele following Steele's dismissal.

Congressman Meadows said that he has seen texts and e-mails that prove that the FBI was leaking information to news reporters and then using those news reports with leaked information to corroborate (to the FISA court) the same source information that they had originally. Circular corroboration to make it appear that there were two separate sources to the court when the information was really only a single questionable source.

This is really, really bad stuff.

I think that the discovery of what Ohr and his wife were up to has turned the corner of this Congressional investigation. When the FISA applications and other related documents are declassified, the whole house of lies behind the genesis of the Mueller investigation is going to crumble. It will be so bad that even Jeff Sessions will be shamed into action.

Then, everyone will have to consider that the same circle of corrupt and politically motivated investigators were responsible for the Clinton "Investigation" sham. It will become apparent to everyone that the Deep State is real. In this case, a group of about eight high level FBI officials were able to manipulate the system to save one candidates campaign and then try to sink the others. (We know how deep the FBI people are in this, and I am confident that some outside the FBI were in on the action too.) Even after the election, they decided to create an "insurance policy" to reverse the results of the election. They did it because they believed that they were saving the country from the stinky Walmart people of the United States. They firmly believe that they are smarter than the voters and they deserve to have the power of our collective future passed from our Democratic Republic into their hands.

Long ago, I said this would end up bigger than Watergate. I still believe that.

New Texts Reveal FBI Leaked Information to the Press to Damage Trump

https://saraacarter.com/new-texts-re...-damage-trump/

Newly released text messages and documents obtained by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee reveal that senior members of the FBI and Department of Justice led a coordinated effort to leak unverified information to the press regarding alleged collusion with Russia to damage President Donald Trump’s administration, according to a letter sent by the committee to the DOJ Monday.
April 10, 2017: (former FBI Special Agent) Peter Strzok contacts (former FBI Attorney) Lisa Page to discuss a “media leak strategy.” Specifically, the text says: “I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go.”

April 12, 2017: Peter Strzok congratulates Lisa Page on a job well done while referring to two derogatory articles about Carter Page. In the text, Strzok warns Page two articles are coming out, one which is “worse” than the other about Lisa’s “namesake”.” Strzok added: “Well done, Page.”
Oh, how the truth leaks out ever so slowly.......

Why would Strzok and Page have a "leak strategy" that included leaking unverified/false information about Carter Page? Is anyone concerned that the FBI would be doing this for political purposes? These people were abusing their power in unbelievable ways. UDBaby once chided me for "buying into the Deep State conspiracy theory". The Deep State now announces itself in anonymous Op-ed articles.

When unelected bureaucrats start secretly meddling with our government in ways that go against the platform that was chosen by voters, it threatens our freedoms 100X more than any Russian Facebook posts. This is the very definition of Deep State.

Recently, information is leaking that there is now evidence in the form of e-mails and texts that the FBI was coordinating leaks of information (information that they knew was false) to hurt Trump with the DOJ. It looks like this is moving up the ladder. It would be criminal if the participants knew that the information was false, which the FBI certainly did.

Every other news story pales in comparison to the significance of these developments in breaking down the wall of lies in the FBI and DOJ. The DOJ has flatly refused to provide a lot of self incriminating documents to Congress, but through pressure and FOI lawsuits, evidence keeps coming to light. When Trump declassifies some of the related documents, it will be spectacular. Consider that Strzok and Page texts are still coming to light. Why would the DOJ still be hiding them? They have been demanded by Congress for years now.

If you are not paying attention to Hannity and Sara Carter reporting on the daily developments in this story, you are missing the Watergate of our times.

Well, the levy is beginning to break on the texts and e-mails that the DOJ has been trying to suppress. More Strzok and Page texts are out along with communications from within the DOJ and CIA. These are not conspiracy theories. These are written communications between officials in their own words. It seems that they are discussing the illegal activity of leaking classified information to the press, handling unclassified information on personal e-mails, and leaking smear information on citizens when they knew the information was false.

The lawyers who were analyzing this on television seemed to think that this is going to be a legal bloodbath for all of the officials and former officials involved.

Well, they’ve already impaneled a grand jury on the McCabe stuff so I imagine these other illegal activities will come up as well. Hopefully the deep state get its butt kicked.

This article sums it up pretty well. The Deep State has been illegally leaking information to the press to hurt Trump, and then later to mislead the public and cover their own tracks.

https://saraacarter.com/how-anti-tru...se-to-defense/

Offense to defense. Hopefully now to jail.

And wow, the latest Page texts really disclose how deep the propaganda campaign through the press at the top of the FBI was to hurt Trump. At one point, she suggests that they can use their own leaks as a pretext to interview more people. Ugh.

The DOJ cannot investigate itself with any integrity now. Special council!

Trump ordered the declassification of documents related to the Russia investigation, including FISA application documents.

The documents to be declassified also include 12 FBI reports on interviews with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all other applications to surveil Carter Page.

Trump also ordered the Justice Department to release text messages from a number of the key players in the Russia investigation "without redaction" -- including Ohr, Strzok, Lisa Page, former FBI Director James Comey, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018...sia-probe.html

For the record, are there any "Deep State" deniers out there who would like to make the case that the Deep State is a wild conspiracy theory before these documents are released?

The founding fathers worried about a king and then a government with no boundaries. Well they succeeded in preventing a king from ruling all these 240+ years. Unfortunately they didn't count on the bureaucrats muckin up the works.

When the police are corrupt then who do you turn to? It is a large dose of reality that if the MAN is out to get you; you are in a lot of trouble.

Unfortunately the minorities have faced this for a long time. To add to that situation anybody made a target drawn from within any part of the whole population means that there could be no-one with the means to rectify an unjust condition.

I do not mean to imply that now that it may be a President (who seems to carry a lot of animosity toward him) is the one that it now counts for more ... it does not. An injustice to one can be an injustice to any one. That it is possible for it to occur this hi up the food chain by those that want to destroy ... well that is somewhat chilling to see that right in front of our eyes.

“We need to open the case we’ve been waiting on now while Andy is acting.”
That is a text from Strzok to Page just after Jim Comey was fired. Page testified under oath that at that time, there was no evidence against Trump in the Russia investigation. Strzok wanted to open a "case" against Trump while he had the good fortune of having Trump-hating Andrew McCabe as acting FBI Director.

Pencil Man/Brennan/Others

Schiff says the release by the DOJ/FBI of the unredacted FISA documents, 302s, etc., crosses a red line. Does he mean the FBI and DOJ will defy or slow walk the release of these documents? Trump has the constitutional authority to release these unredacted documents. Obviously, Rosenstein finds himself in a bad position. So does Schiff for that matter.

Brennan: Wray, Coats, Rosenstein Obligated to ‘Push Back Against’ Trump’s Order to Declassify Documents

18 Sep 20182,170
Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” former CIA Director John Brennan said government officials were obligated to “push back’ against President Donald Trump’s order to declassify documents and text messages related to the Russia investigation.

He added, “Christopher Wray, director of the FBI and Dan Coats, director of National Intelligence as well as Rod Rosenstein who is overseeing this investigation should push back against any directive that is going to have a negative impact on our capabilities as well as the investigation. So I think that they should continue to push, push, push. If Mr. Trump and the White House does not relent, then I think they have some decisions to make, whether or not they are going to the just not follow that direction and be fired or to resign.

https://www.breitbart.com/video/2018...ify-documents/

Trump said exposing the phony Russia investigation will be one of the crowning accomplishments of his Administration.

What is the rationale for blocking the release of this information?

Brennan, Schiff, etc. IMO, look bad arguing for not releasing this information. They really seem to just make themselves look worse and worse with every additional protest that they make, they should stop protesting IMO and just face the music. They have a lot of explaining to do.

Brennan does not want to go to jail.

We already have evidence that some of the redactions that have been made on released information had nothing to do with national security. It's the last cover that they have to prevent releasing the plentiful incriminating evidence against themselves.

It has never been appropriate for the FBI leadership to control it's own redactions of evidence. Rosenstein is conflicted by his participation in the FISA applications. The fox has been watching the henhouse.

Why are e-mails and texts still coming out? They have been subpoenaed by Congress for over a year. FBI leadership has already proven itself partisan and untrustworthy of handling this evidence.

The first documents could be out by Friday.

Brennan is out there begging for Rosenstein to defy the President on this. You have to wonder what Rosenstein is thinking right now. He might also be in legal jeopardy when these documents are released. Would he rather get fired over this than be the hand that potentially incriminates himself?

I would not be surprised if Rosenstein self-destructs and forces Trump to fire him by refusing this Presidential order. That is how bad that I expect the information that is going to be released to be for the Deep State.

https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/40...ng-achievement

Asked what he thought the outcome of his long-running fight with the FBI, the president said: “I hope to be able put this up as one of my crowning achievements that I was able to ... expose something that is truly a cancer in our country.”

Now reports from Bloomberg News say that the FBI and DOJ plan to defy Trump by proposing redactions anyway. The redactions being proposed “would keep some information secret,” as opposed to a full public, unredacted release like the president has requested.

According to Bloomberg, the DOJ and FBI are expected to provide their redacted suggestions to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, who will then hand them over to the White House for review. President Trump, however, has the ability to supersede these agencies and remove the redactions entirely, if desired.
https://hillreporter.com/defying-tru...ts-anyway-7566

It will be interesting if things play out this way. I would like to see what is proposed for redaction by the agencies. I'll bet that it turns out to have nothing to do with national security.

I bet the redactions have more to do with FBI and DOJ criminal activity than they do national security.

Sara Carter has broken most of the stories on the FBI/DOJ corruption so far. She has not been wrong yet to my knowledge. I heard a snippet of her on the Hannity show. She suggested that there may be two sets of documents within the FBI. One was used for release to the public. The other was the real information. She said that people above Strzok were aware of this situation. She said that she has heard that the rats are turning on each other in the FBI and testifying to the IG or a grand jury.

Things sound really chaotic within the FBI right now. It sounds like it is ready to go nuclear. From what I hear, the release of the documents will blow the whole situation up completely.

The FBI deep state is still fighting to hide as much as possible and slow walk Trumps order to release these documents. This is going to get real ugly. The Deep Staters are cornered. There are no good options for them now. They are desperate and capable of desperate actions and drama. I think that there will ultimately be either resignations or firings of FBI officials who refuse to release information under order from the President, which is his clear Constitutionally granted power.

This will be exposed as the biggest abuse of power scandal in US history.

You just got a preview of the drama of the coming month. You won't get this watching the fake news. The (inexplicably) universally despised Sean Hannity and Sara Carter along with key Congressmen are responsible for uncovering this bit by bit over the last year. We owe them for revealing the depth of the corruption.

What Will Happen to Rosenstein?

Rod Rosenstein Suggested Secretly Recording Trump and Discussed 25th Amendment.

Mr. Rosenstein made the remarks about secretly recording Mr. Trump and about the 25th Amendment in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes in interviews over the past several months, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

… he did tell Mr. McCabe that he might be able to persuade Attorney General Jeff Sessions and John F. Kelly, then the secretary of homeland security and now the White House chief of staff, to mount an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment.

Mr. McCabe told other F.B.I. officials of his conversation with Mr. Rosenstein.

Rosenstein's response is that the 25th Amendment could not be invoked against Trump.

Hmm, sounds like the FBI and Rosenstein and McCabe are the ones in chaos and psychosis.

The President will root out and destroy these rats very soon, and the liberals and anti-Trumpers will cry and complain because they will have less rats fouling up the game. Once again Trump was right. He is tough, abrasive and persistent about Making America Great.

Schumer rallies behind Rosenstein, warns Trump not to fire him.

“This New York Times report must not be used as a pretext for the corrupt purpose of firing Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein in order to install an official who will allow the president to interfere with the Special Counsel’s investigation,” Schumer wrote in a tweet.

Well, it looks like the desperate acts have begun. McCabe vowed to take down more officials when he was fired. Trump needs to sit back and watch the house of lies at the FBI self-destruct for a while, IMO. Once the declassified information is released, it becomes a game of stay-out-of-jail for the Deep Staters.

Is the declassified information going to be released? Seems foreign nations asked Trump not to release the information. Trump wants the IG to look at the information.

The fact that other countries are requesting that the information not be released to the American public might be scarier than what we know about the Deep state so far.

Why would both our FBI leaders and foreign nations be so desperate to hide what they have done?

According to a former American official and a former British official, the British government expressed grave concerns to the United States government about the release of classified information. The material includes direct references to conversations between American law enforcement officials and Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled a dossier alleging ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Britain’s objection, these former officials said, was over revealing Mr. Steele’s identity in an official document, regardless of whether he had been named in press reports.

A key concern of senior intelligence leaders was protecting the sources and methods that the intelligence community uses to gather information, according to two officials briefed on the matter. Revealing those pieces of information could undermine national security.

Everyone already knows that the Clinton Campaign and DNC hired Steele to compile the dossier and shop it around Washington. Then the FBI hired him until they fired him, and then they kept back-channels open through Ohr and his wife.

So these objections make no sense if they are about what we already know about Steele and foreign meddling in our election.

Foreign Govenments in on Trump Take Down

Sounds like the CIA may have been encouraging our allies to spy on US citizens in ways that would have broken our laws had our government done it.

Top FBI lawyer Baker offers 'explosive' testimony on 'abnormal' handling of Russia probe into Trump campaign: lawmakers

Former top FBI lawyer James Baker gave "explosive" closed-door testimony on Wednesday detailing for congressional investigators how the Russia probe was handled in an "abnormal fashion" reflecting "political bias," according to two Republican lawmakers present for the deposition.

I have to think that the release of unredacted documents is on the back burner until Kavanaugh is done.

Per The Hill, DNC attorneys met with FBI PRIOR to the issuance of warrant. This is huge. https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/40...dossier-before

Wow, if that is true, I'm stunned by the corruption. If true, there are a lot of officials who are going to have a very hard time explaining this to the American people. For all of this time, the FBI has hidden the fact that they met with the DNC before they went for FISA warrants? Knowing that the DNC paid for the dossier as "opposition research", this looks like a huge political set-up, with the FBI being the willing political weapon.

Baker claims that McCabe and Page thought that Rosenstein was serious about wearing a wire to record Trump and attempt to remove him from office. Not sure who to believe on this one because I'm sure the Comey clan is angered by Rosenstein, who recommended Comey's firing. Baker is a buddy of Comey's and they are all in legal jeopardy over this mess.

The rats are scrambling.

Also, Baker revealed that the dossier was received from DNC lawyers very early on, before the FISA application. This might contradict testimony before Congress from a lot of FBI officials. Oh, what a tangled web.

When we boil it all down, it looks like the top FBI leadership was abusing their power to frame Trump in order to get a special prosecutor appointed, and hopefully impeach him. Can anyone give me an example of a bigger abuse of power in the history of our country?

All of this is taking quite a long time to sort out IMO.

I hope that Trump expedites things. Hurry it up.

The reason this is taking so long to resolve (IMHO)is that most of the elite Media outlets are running interference for the malfeasance of the FBI and DOJ and keeping a lid on it. If this were being given more national coverage, the pressure would build to provide a full accounting of what occurred. Unfortunately, most of the elite Media outlets agree with the FBI and other Deep State operatives...they're on the same team.

What UAC says is that media biased to the left, e.g., CNN, are no more biased than media biased to the right, e.g., Fox.

The media are biased...people are biased...typical UDPride contributors are biased. Trying to make your way through clearly biased points of view is aided by getting information from several sources. But, of course, you know that longtimer.

If you actually think the media is equally biased to the right and left that is sad and naive.

If you think Fox is not as biased to the right as CNN is to the left, then you are not paying attention. MSNBC is off the charts to the left.

There are more left-leaning versions, to be sure. PJ O'Rourke use to have a statement about the number of lefty folks in journalism vs. folks like him on the right. Let's just say it was a creative way to to say he was greatly outnumbered.
