I heard 11,000 for last night. They gave it towards end of late game.

11,855 yesterday and 11,528 today, per the DDN. Not bad at all. Former Bengal (and USC) great Anthony Muņoz was there tonight, sitting next to Lynn Swann.

Lynn Swann from Serra High School in the Bay Area . . . the only California guy Donoher ever recruited was from that school (think Brady, Jim Fregosi) . . . Jack Keehan, one helluva good player who backed up Janke, Jackson, Crosswhite, Ken May. Family moved to Illinois (I think) when Jack was at Dayton so hometown listed as Chicago area.

Why is the NCAA wasting their time considering moving this event away from THE University of Dayton?

I think those numbers are great.
UD could not do more to make the First Four a great success.
I'd think we are hosting beyond 2018.....can't imagine Hershey or
Evansville taking it away.

I see them splitting the First Four into 2 locations. I see the other location supporting the games for a year or 2 then interest waning.

Just saw this article tonight. Really nice thoughts from the Columbus Dispatch regarding the special place that UD Arena holds in NCAA tournament history. Should be the only thing UD presents when arguing to retain the First Four games.
