Golden Blue Hoes Award - Presbyterian

There were a couple good story lines from today's game vs PU...JDavis broke out of his slump...UD played well with Cunningham sitting most of the game...Sir Trey Landers dominated the boards...and with a 30 pt lead, Policelli didn't see the court. Hmmmmmmm.

Regardless, there was also some great play that we need to dissect...and vote upon. I have not made up my Royal mind who earned today's award but with another Bud Light or two, I'm sure I'll come up with something. Hopefully, you will, too.

Go Flyers! My Team.

Crutcher by a mile. I know JD scored well and played good D too, but Crutcher owned that floor, esp first half. Not sure what gives in Policelli. How does he not get the one thing he needs with a 28 point first half lead?

I love Sir Trey and JDavis played awesome after a couple poor games, but everything runs thru Crutcher...who in my eyes was Golden today!

Voted for Jordan. Was good for him to have a breakout game. And for as good as Crutch was (and has been), when someone who has been struggling the way JD has been, when he finally puts together a really good game (as he did today), I have to recognize that.

Good game, guys! Merry Christmas!

JD broke out of his slump at the right time for him and us. Need that from him every game.

I voted for Jordan, just because it was good to see him put together a solid game after so many struggles.

The Hose obviously watched last game's film as they consistently doubled Josh & Obi in the post. Good to see our guards can make a team pay for that mistake.

Jalen was at the peak of his game. He really dazzled the crowed with a behind the back dribble and then a slick pass to Mikesell for a dunk. He seemed quicker than anyone on the court today.

I voted for Jordan Davis. After struggling for many games in a row I was happy for him because even though he doesn’t show much emotion I could tell he was having fun out there! Look out A-10 because we have guards who are capable of scoring (even Cohill) when teams try to shut down Josh and Obi inside!

All Jordan. He worked his butt off on D and scored. This was the first game this year where he seemed aggressive, especially going inside.

Davis or Crutcher, but I voted for Davis. Probably a sentimental vote for my favorite guy, who finally played closer to potential.

It had to be one of Cunningham's worst games ever. Not only did he not do much, but his effort was pathetic on both ends.

I think JD is putting his conference game face on - I expect we'll see a lot more of this heading forward...which for me, he's the final piece to the puzzle for fruitful A10 bid to the dance.

Did you watch the same game I did . . .didn't you see them collapsing on him? Their game plan was to take out our big men and they did that very effectively. But they forgot about how skilled our guards are.

Josh's production was not due to a lack of effort. It was due to the effective defense they put on him. I don't disparage him for that !!! Lack of effort is a real downstroke on a very dedicated player.

Cohill didn't get a vote in the poll, and with others doing more it was appropriate.

But he played another solid game and is little by little getting more confident and aggressive.
He could yet be a strong contributor before this trip is over.

Do you only watch the offense. Watch him on defense next game, or go back and watch him on the replay this game. His rebounding also tells the story.
