Lighting at Davidson 2/6/19
Anyone else watching the URI @ Davidson game on ESPN?
Did Wildcats fail to pay their light bill?
Looks absolutely terrible, and on national TV
Real poor lighting, especially on the baselines
A-10, small gyms, poor lighting.....gotta be adjustment to visitors.

Looks like a few halogen painters lights at Davidson
Check out TCU floor on ESPNU right now. Never seen this before, assume it is new. Many of the custom design floors (oregon and anything with an X on it) are just plain ugly and obnoxious backgrounds when watching a game on TV, but the horned frog is pretty sweet in my opinion.

Interesting floor at TCU.
Nice they have WALSH FAMILY COURT right there on the floor for all in their arena and on national TV to see.
Not like we have Tom Blackburn Court at UD Arena.....running on the sideline, across from the benches, in front of press row so that only half the folks at the game can see it and no one on TV sees it either.

I know, it's crazy. Even last night at the Chaifetz Center in St. Louis you can clearly see, plain as day "Centene Court" written on the court for all to see. I have no idea who Centene is, but you can really see the name Centene Court very clearly.
I think UD is the only court that I have ever seen designed like that.

Government sponsored healthcare. Sounds like chewing gum. Nothing else at UD arena better be for sale.

Speaking of court design, here is a link to an older site where a guy came up with court concepts for every D1 school. (UD is second one listed on the front page). These are just his ideas. Anyway, they are perfectly sized for cell phone wall papers - I use the UD one on my phone.

My guess is that the Walsh family donated a whole lot more than Tom Blackburn.

Not sure what was going on last night at Davidson. I have been there to two games and it is very well lit, and a very nice small arena. The darkness could have occurred from the TV broadcast, or maybe they really had lights not functioning, or some Russian light bulbs.
