At this point in time, I'll take it. Thought we would not even be mentioned given the four losses to graduation and a new coach. think AG can upgrade from here, will be a very interesting season.

Totally agree. I think even being mentioned near the NCAA bracket is great. So many unknowns with this team, and some of the knowns also make this season one that could be forgettable.
With that being said, all of the newcomers seem like an exciting bunch and I think the X man is ready to step up and be the leader of this squad for the next two seasons.
As always, Go Flyers!

How can VCU switch coaches 2 times now and seemingly never miss a beat? They just reload. Why can't we do that?
Shaka Smart to Will Wade to Mike Rhoades...they never miss a beat.

The reloading started with Anthony Grant (or perhaps Jeff Capel). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCU_Ra...27s_basketball Surprised AG has the best winning percentage ever at VCU, even better than Shaka.
If Anthony Grant would have inherited last years team, Dayton would be reloading as well. This year was going to be difficult for Archie or any coach.

We've missed a beat already? I didn't know we had played some games?!?! But in all seriousness, VCU is in the same boat as us. They had more roster turnover than us. They bring back a guy who could win A10 POY in Justin Tillman and their starting PG Jonathan Williams. They also add 2 transfers that should fit right in.
But yeah, let's get totally irrational over 1 guys (who is middle of the pack at best) projections.
