Flyers' annual basketball awards.
The awards have been announced. I'm going to give the most shocking one first. Winner of Thomas M. Luppe Memorial Award for top freshman: Trey Landers.
^^^^^ sarcasm
I cannot believe that they gave the MVP to all 5 seniors, that was lame. Scoochie should've won it because he earned it. I guess the "Everyone gets a trophy" philosophy has now infected UD's basketball program.
Anyway, here's the link: http://www.daytondailynews.com/sport...Gj5eeRx14z64K/

When you honor everyone, you honor no one.
Scoochie earned that MVP award. No one else was close.

Bonsu??? Give me a break. He is a good kid but they are really going to mention him in the same breath as Scoochie or the other three for that matter?

Are those awards not voted on by the players themselves? If that is the case, not sure why we would criticise the shared award wish of the players. If the players do not vote for the awards, just act like I didn't post this.

If the players didn't select, then who did? Archie? Neil?

Who was there?
Did they have a banquet? If so, did AG go since all the coaches are gone? Just curious who was in attendance.

They did not have a banquet this year but a private dinner for the players.
Logistics due to the last A10 game on the road.
