believe neil sullivan told jablonski they weren't sure where yet...so who knows. but i doubt it would be rec plex. so either arena or frericks. they gotta have the half court shot

jablo or someone posted that ESPN had been talking to UD since maui about getting gameday to dayton this year. just had to get a date that worked.

11 am on Mar 7 there is a semifinal game of the women's A10 tournament in the arena.

Only two teams from Ohio have ever hosted gameday. Any guesses? We are the only A10 team ever to host gameday

OF COURSE they are using it to promote!
that, by definition, is what a network does,
and that does NOT take away from it...
that is why they are choosing one of the
coolest teams with the fans, not Joe Lunardi..

I was one of the ones who called this weeks
ago.. it was something I could see happening:
you ride what is trending, and that is UD!

you are ESPN, you have GameDay, it may
not of been on your schedule to broadcast
there when the season started, but it soon
became obvious to the powers that be at ESPN,
this is the team people want to see and hear
about....

It will be on campus, location TBD (my guess: Frericks...or, if it's 70 and sunny...Lowes)!

It was also reported that the game remains on Spectrum Sports.

Maryland pulling out all the stops for GameDay. Thousands there including alum Scott Van Pelt. Hope Dayton can make ours special. Dan Patrick or Grudin available?

Doubt he would do it, but Donoher would be great, too. For that matter, I wouldn’t mind seeing Chris Wright or Brian Roberts get some airtime. Both have been great ambassadors for UD.

	Don Donoher DON DONOHER Legendary Flyer men's basketball coach who guided Dayton to 435 victories in 25 seasons (1964-1989) including the 1967 NCAA Runner-Up. Took over the program after the passing of Tom Blackburn and earned many NCAA and NIT bids over his career, including five Sweet-16s, one Elite Eight appearance, and the 1968 NIT Championship. Groomed All-Americans Don May and Jim Paxson, along with all-time leading scorer Roosevelt Chapman. Coached UD as they joined conference affiliation for the first time (Midwest Collegiate). A graduate of UD, Donoher played for Blackburn and credits much of his coaching success to his mentor's teachings: defense, ball protection, patience, and unselfishness.

Maybe at the PAC center. No way the Ore. District , that’s not our campus. The flight deck can’t be used as we have a women’s game and it only holds a few. Hundred at best We need to show up with thousands. The PC is right on the edge of the ghetto .

	Ghetto UD GHETTO Student neighborhood surrounding the campus of the University of Dayton. Unique to UD, the Ghetto gets its name from the nickname students gave the depression and war-period row houses the university owns and rents to Dayton students during their course of study.
