Arkansas State Game Thread
Projected ASU Starting lineup from HowlYes.com
PG: Cameron Golden, Fr, 6'0" 154 lbs

G: Marcus Hooten, Sr, 6'3", 208 lbs
F: Brandon Patterson, Sr, 6'8", 218 lbs

Benson is only a little over 220 and Scott 215, so not sure I make too much of 218.
Washington is a big dude at 274. I suspect he'll have quickness issues against Robinson or Benson.

What do we have to see in this game to keep our expectations high? I think we need to see continued development of Sanford and another hint of Robinson's high ceiling.

Sanford needs to hit some outside shots, Price needs to he more tuan just a warm body backing uo Dillard, Robinson needs to not get pushed around by someone older and heavier while still being a scoring threat, and Oliver needs to exploit the mismatch while he is at the 3.

Up 7 at half and KD was a no-show. Hopefully he comes out the 2nd half his usual self and we blow this open.
The rebounding needs to be much much better.

Not sure Archie has him officially in any rotation or regular minutes.
Id thim it would take Pierre another 2 to 3 games to get his flow on and minutes up.
He was ill or hurt about ten days ago. Correct?

Am I the only one with a terrible picture? Great when it is small, but expanding it to full screens makes my cataracts hurt.

Would it be too much to ask to have the game clock and shot clock displayed on the screen permanently?

Not true. Please try to at least use facts in your arguments. Certainly he hasn't shot well and has too many TO, but at no point in the game did he have more TO than assists. He had 4 A and 2 TO at halftime and now has 6 A and 4 TO.

16 point lead down to 9 and it's been Dillard's bad decisions that have helped them get back into the game

6-22, 27%. I assume you asked because you were impressed that UD's 3pt defense was that good.

CBS Sports Injury Report had this on Nov 2:
Dyshawn Pierre, Dayton -- Ankle, out two weeks (10-28)
Alex Grivilovic, Dayton -- Mono, 3-4 weeks (10-28)
Gavrilovic must have had a mild case of mono, and maybe they're just not overplaying Pierre at this point?

I thought Scott and Robinson both looked good. They were playing against a really good post guy who weighed 270 pounds. They were caught out of position a few times but also had their moments. They didn't box out well though
