MSOC: Flyers Top Hawks 3-2 in OT
Game Recap: http://udpride.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31278
Started slow, ended much better. SJU is not great, but any competition is going to cause us some trouble this year. We got the W which was the most important thing right now. Still in 1st place for now.

Nice come-from-behind win last night.
Couple of observations-
Helgason has improved a bunch up top in the last few matches. He was recruited as a defender but Coach Currier moved him to forward early in the season. Having a 6' 7" target forward is a luxury few teams have. In the first few games he was somewhat lost as a forward - other than a tall target on set pieces. While he will never be described as quick, he has learned how to use his long legs for one touch passes to teammates or to dispossess a defender.
I really like Teneski's game and he is a real hustler whose motor never quits - and he has a very strong right foot. However, he needs to trust his left foot a bit more. He had one or two good chances last night late in regulation that could have been finished off the left foot but he chose to delay and work the ball over to his dominant right side for a shot. That was just enough of a delay for the defenders to recover and block his shot. A left-footed shot might have been on frame and perhaps found the back of the net.
