If you're going to foul a guy from behind as he's going in for the bunny, at least make sure he misses!!

Schmidt did his homework. Just stay right with Sibert and force him to put the ball on the floor.

This SBU team is terrible. Goes to show how bad we are. Making Kloof,Simmons and Ndoye look like Kobe ,Shaq and Glen Rice

Rebounds all even, as we have given up two or three shots anytime they miss. Finally Price ties that rebound up. Our bigs are showing no desire on the boards.

They are shooting over 50% again in the game -- our D is terrible. Why don't we mix it up, I am at a loss. Does Archie ever get asked this question by a reporter?

All you have to do with these A-10 refs is drive and draw a touch and you are on the line!

Given the fact that we can't defend the paint or the penetration, I cannot disagree with that. Put him on the line!

The TV broadcasters are talking about how deep the UD bench is. I don't see it that way. I see UD has a lot of typical average players. No one on the team has shown they want to or should be the "go to player" during crunch time. Too many playing by committee if you ask me. How about UD work with one or two players to want to be that player and can be expected to be that player.

I like the foul, but way too early. Play a little tougher D and foul under 6 seconds. Again, bad clock management.

Huge road win! Oliver with the 2nd half Stones! We'll Done Archie on the call to foul.
Geographically not a good fit, but I like the UD - SBU rivalry. Win or lose, they're a great bunch of fans to play against.

clutch win. DMO put team on his back and made all the plays in the last 10 minutes. Team showed a lot of toughness because they sure did not get a lot of calls.

The second half keys will be if Oliver shows up, and he and the centers can stay in the game

DMO comes up big. Huge win. Two striaght on the road in conference play. Don't remember the last time that has happened. The Flyers' death has been greatly exaggerated.

Gutsy is the operative word. The Mighty Flyers really gutted this one out. DMO was MONEY with clutch FT shooting!

The team earned their naysayer bash during that span when they appeared to have given up just as they will earn their props for finding the cajones these last three games.
Not sure what the issues were between players, coaches etc but sure glad they worked it out in time to hopefully save the season.
Great effort guys, gutsy performance. You showed it in Maui and in non con season and you showed it again these past 3 games; keep it up you just might have a post season in your future and I don't mean NIT.

Not sure it was greatly exaggerated as they were definitely in ICU and on the ventilator. Nice recovery. Stay healthy.

Archie mentioned on his show Monday night that they were without 4 players for practice for about 3 weeks. AG, MK, KP, and Brian Vondeharr, who is a very important practice player. Players had to practice out of position for at least part of the practices. Maybe that had something to do with the "fade".

Watched the entire game and enjoyed reading this thread after the game. The players and coaches deserve a ton of credit for sticking together through all the adversity.

Flyers had opportunities to throw in towel in that second half. DMO was clutch the last 10 minutes. Can't remember very many road wins over the years like this one where they were down the entire 2nd half only to pull it out in the last 2 minutes.
Put together a number of stops in the last 5 minutes

Up by three with just a few seconds left.......I never thought I'd see a Flyer's coach call for the foul to concede two points but not three.
Way to go Archie.

No ragging on DMO for those first two fouls. They were total BS. The second one involved an XU-like flop. Even Bucky, who doesn't complain abut the refs much, was upset with them. I watched on TV and listened to the radio. That foul on Gav when he was camped out waiting for the charge and sacrificed his body for it? No way it was on him.
So glad DMO came back and saved the game. Just think of how much we would have been ahead if he'd played the 1st half. The other guys really sucked it up and stayed in the game.
I was praying SBU would make the 2nd FT at the end, so we wouldn't have to worry about a rebound with them tipping it in and winning in the last second.
Fantastic win for the Flyers and as usual, not pretty, but who cares?? I hoped the law of averages would come through for us with SBU 9-1 at home. It was time for a loss there.
Maybe this increased momentum will carry us through the rest of the season. There's not a team in the A10 that we can't beat on any given night.
