I am a fan of the way AM conducts his recruiting. Runs a tight ship, not a lot of rumors floating around. We here something when something happens. doesn't help the rumor boards much, but it seem to be working for him.

Not surprised. Figured that's where he was going to end up. But the news comes at the same time we are learning about Charles Cooke, the James Madison transfer. I like him better - bigger at 6-6 vs 6-4 for Cressler and more of a 2/3 who rebounds the ball. Not the shooter that Cressler is but gets to the rim and can score.

After seeing Archie come up with an unknown named Khari Price late in the game, I have confidence we'll do just fine. Archie can spot talent and heart.

Better shoot higher than that.There's a million Price's out there and the stats show it..6 ppg and less than 2 apg for a PG in 22 mpg ain't hard to find. Nothing against KP because he is who he is, can hit a couple shots and play some D, but he was a MUST get at that time and highly doubt he gets offered in a normal year..

Given the circumstances at the time, Arch found a very serviceable point guard who looked right at home dealing with the pressure of an ELITE 8 run. Khari can shoot the three which actually surprised a lot of people. Should we shoot higher? Of course. But as a late addition from Slidell, La, to Dayton was quite a feat. Says something about Khari. Says a lot about Archie and staff.

That article on Ostrom mentioned that the coaching staff recruited Khari largely on the basis of grainy game tapes.

A transfer from Cornell who was pretty highly coveted. Good player. From Archie's old stomping grounds more or less. But Vandy got him. On to the next guy. Sky is not falling. We're good.

KP's a warrior; what's not to like about him? We did just fine this year. I'll take a KP any day if this years performance is a result. This guy played all year with bad knees and never took a game off. Let's go find another PG just like HIM!
