Great athleticism but too much mustard on the hot dog. I know I'm old, but I didn't particularly care for the showboating. Just as I don't care to see the antics of a football player after he has scored a touchdown.

The dunk was stunning, but probably the play of the game was the block by Mikesell on the Brown shot at the end of the game. That sealed the victory and was probably the best defensive play by Mikesell in his career.

DDN seemed to capture most of the great plays by everyone in this one. The reactions to Obi’s dunk are priceless, including AGs. Ryan’s block is in here. And Trey’s rebound. Nice selection.

Mikesell definitely put the lid on any comeback notions. Equally as good was the dunk by Obi at the end of the first half. Since I didn't DVR the first half not sure I can capture a sequence of that unless NBC sports channel showed it as a replay, but if I find it....

From DDN this AM:
Toppin said it was “for sure” his greatest dunk, but he might not attempt such a dunk again in a close game after Grant talked to him. Dayton led by 11 after the dunk, but Georgia Southern trimmed the deficit to one point twice in the final three minutes.
“He said make sure the next time you look at the clock and see the situation we were in,” Toppin said. “I didn’t even know it was a close game. He just said be mindful of the score and the time.”

The funniest pics were of Obi's face before, during, and after the dunk. He looked like a guy who just had hemorrhoid surgery without a sedative.

The only one in or out of the arena to even come close was Chris Wright’s posterization of the Marquette player he jumped OVER en route to a vicious tomahawk slam. I also recall — wayback machine here — of a reverse over-the-head slam by Erv Giddings. But Obi already has one of those to his credit.

Not to take anything from Obi's uncontested showtime dunk... but, lest we forget this one that came out of nowhere in the arena... Amazing London couldn't shoot but could laser an alley-oop like this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a6IqzNuhfs

I would have to go with Chris Wright's tomahawk. It was a Marquette player that he flew completely over with a Chicago TV audience watching. That's a double asterisk **.

You are going to see that one "COUNTRY WIDE"
I still love that senior night tip planned play when Jet half-court pass to Charles Little on the Senior Night send off.
Chapman had some great dunks in his day.

I'm not that impressed with the "between the legs, no one near him" dunk... it's actually not that high a degree of difficulty for Obi - seen him do it dozens of times in warm-ups.
There was just more 'shock value' to it, as most were surprised he did it in a close game.
The tomahawk dunk earlier in the game, off his own miss, was way more impressive to me... reminded me of the Chris Wright years, where he would just go up in the middle of the lane and throw down a tomahawk a dunk (on one or more opponents).
Remember... before you can join the Flight Club, you have to posterize someone first
If I recall correctly, London Warren didn't join until he went flying down the lane and dunked on a dude from Temple!!!

Behind the head olley oop to start the game for Little versus _avier on Senior Night. Loved it.

Not a 'great' dunk but this one kind of came out of nowhere as well. Against the blue man group as to boot.

I had to miss the game due to a family Christmas party. A bunch of us were watching on TV, agonizing as the 2nd half went on and the Flyers barely held on (AGAIN!).
Lots of screams and cheers for the dunk, JK's FTs and RM's block. I agree with AG--too much showboating when the game still is question, but I love OT's enthusiasm.
I had recorded the game and watched it last night. I had anticipated the Play of the week and recorded that too.
Now the team needs to learn from their mistakes and take the A10 by storm.

Good dunk. Best ever is quite an overstatement. Not even his best dunk IMO.
Here's one of my favorites from Chris Johnson. He was called for a foul somehow, but the bucket counted? Had to be one of the worst calls I've ever seen, but awesome dunk nonetheless:
