Rivals Top65 Countdown...
A couple weeks ago Rivals started a countdown for the top 65 teams. Today they are on #39 which was LSU. Anybody here think Dayton is gona be on the list? I expected them to be but did'nt see them in the 40's or early 50's. I wounder if Rivals is thinking Highly of us this season! So far their has been two A-10 Teams Listed.
St. Joseph's - Umass...... I expect five adding to the list Dayton - _avier - Temple

I am thinking if they haven't got called yet they are going to be. Most sites will penalize UD a ton for losing Roberts, without knowledge of what UD has coming back. While I won't mind being wrong, preseason polls are garbage anyway.

Don't get me wrong loseing a player like Roberts hurts but with the team we have we just may be the most Athletic team in the country..... Club 40 is gona step up huge this season (Wright, Little, Johnson) and we should get some solid play from Hulesman who steped up alot last season in some games. 18 points against Akron, 12 points 8 rebounds against Pitt, 14 Points against Miami (OH), 10 and 12 point games against Rhode Island, and 10 points in the post season game against Cleveland State. And with Londons energy to start the game we will be just fine...25-6 is my predicted record. But would not be surprised if we win 26-27 games!

I certainly hope you are right as do most others who use this board. It would be nice to go into the NCAA tournament with 26 wins

The thing about basketball polls in the preseason is that they don't have any affect on your season, unlike in football. You can start as nothing and get to the top five very easily if you play well. With the amount of young players in CBB, preseason polls are nothing more than a guess.
That being said, I wouldn't mind being ranked in the top 40, but I doubt it happens.
