ticky tacky +2 gift now from refs. 1 phantom T = 1 point & 1 phantom lane violation = 1 point. You could a lane violation on every single foul shot of this game. Crazy call.

Foul on Oliver.
23 seconds to go.
Frease misses another freebie.
and another, but AG lane violation gives him another shot

Looks like they'll go into the locker room at halftime with the lead
Going to have to weather the punch to the mouth that will be coming to start the 2nd half

CBS Sports GameTracker says Tu and Frease are the game's top performers for the half.
They need to take free throw percentage into account there. Frease is killing X.

When Paul gets a chance to square up, he is deadly...no doubt. Great passing from Dillard to Fab to Paul for the open 3 to end the half. Dillard really knows how to break down a defense.

Wow, very solid half of basketball. X looks terrible (Frankenstein looks especially bad at the charity stripe), but we're playing pretty well. Keep it up Flyers, the nation is watching!

For realz...Tu Tu dribbles with his off-hand constantly pushing off the defender.
On another front, who does this craptastic FT shooting remind you of? UD any other year but this one.

If they can continue to hit like that the 2nd half--I like their chances
Again, however, they've been less than stellar at the beginning of 2nd halves in some games--something left over from the BG days

Is it just me or ....
Does it seem like Tu travels almost every time he drives the lane? OH, keep fouling brick boy...yeah, you know who i'm talking about....
These refs are efoecking awful. That "T" on DMO was absolutely pathetic....Hope CJ gets hot; looks like Paul brought his "A" game...

Xavier is tough and this is not going to be easy. I obviously like being up 10 (versus down), but we really should be up 15. Xavier will make a big run in the 2H, I am really nervous for the 2H, particularly with the refs inconsistent calls.

Yes he has 3. Gametracker probably not factoring the technical as a personal foul.

Regardless of how many of the fouls against Dayton were phantoms, our lead is thanks to Xavier's free throw woes. Worse than anything I've even seen from Dayton.

ESPN and gametracker both say 2 fouls on Oliver.
I think a T for hanging on the rim is not a personal foul.
By the way UC beat Cuse.

Not a good start at all.
Dillard - shot blocked, then Dillard fouls to stop a fast break.

Agree that we are not getting any calls from the refs, but what we should expect. I am complaining like everyone (probably more than others), but this is what we should expect. Looked like jump ball, but ...

40-39 after another Frease score.
17:08 to go.
Dayton with the lead and the ball. If you asked me at the beginning of the game if I wanted to play the game or just start from here, I'd start from here.
But wow...

I know everyone loves CJ but he is not a good defender--to many reach in fouls w/o moving his feet

Refs just missed a charge on X. We need to "front" Frease. Come of the four, he is not a threat and use Devon to help double on Tu.

4 fouls on UD in 4 minutes, just plain wrong. I simply don't think UD is good enough to win 6 on 5.

Did Kavanugh perform better earlier in the year because he was playing against inferior talent, or has he just hit the proverbial wall?

I agree with Bucky. Xavier is playing defense. I do not see it from the Flyers. About all we seem to be able to do is foul....
