Thankfully the half ended when it did. Place started rocking and their guards are heating up.
Crutcher was Jekyll Hyde that half - some amazing shots and also confounding turnovers.
Good to see Kostas in there. Gotta let him mature on the court, it's not going to happen with his butt on the pine.

Crutcher with 10 points to go with 4 turnovers and a steal, and 20 minutes of very hard play against some great defenders.
Rebounds are tied, as Landers has 6.

Said to my daughter, they need someone to set a solid pick for him.
TBT, that was one of my lone skills back in the day. Setting picks & screens, and boxing out so my teammates could collect the rebounds. That was my value.

Jay Bilas is a fool. He keeps changing the narrative from the fact that rules were deliberately broken to blaming the NCAA and figuring out a way to pay athletes.

Yeah, his teams were notorious for playing “prevent offense” when a clock was about to expire. AM’s teams weren’t much better, but they had the great equalizer in Mr. Smith.

This Barry kid reminds me of Big Baby Glen Davis from the Celtics (and LSU maybe?). Dude looks like he doesn't skip many meals but he's quick for his size.

The Flyers' passing is so lackadaisical. They do not protect the ball. Josh looks tired; he needed to sit.

At this point...get the F outta here. Too many people put too much effort into the success of this program, and you don’t want to put forth the effort because your poor, wittle feelings have been hurt. Meanwhile, your teammates are busting their @sses to hang with the #1 team in the conference. Yeah. Get the F outta here!

I saw that. It reminds of the politicians. They break the laws and then argue that they need to be changed. I hated that interview. Yes, there is money in college basketball, but there are also immense benefits for the players in terms of educational opportunities.

It is unfair of me to pick on DD, when we are lacking in so many places right now, but, DD completely disappears when things get tough. Has he scored tonight?

Our effort on offense is about 80% of what RI is giving on D. Just lazy movement.

One thing this team does well is give up points in bunches. Unless there’s another VCU or SLU comeback in them it’s over just like that. Went from a 3-point deficit and Cunningham going to the line to a 15-point deficit in the blink of an eye. I guess that’s the hallmark of a young team for you.

All stats are pretty even except turnovers. We have 18 to their 6. That is about 12-15 points.

Possibly more “experience” than “talent”. Granted, RI is clearly the class of the A10 this year, but how good were those guys in 2014-15?

Hate to say it, but good call on the charge. Crutcher was out of control on that drive.

If Matej cannot develop a knock down shot, he will never be a solid contributor for us.

Agree, however he seems to be the only one that understands the concept of getting the ball inside.

Kostas hustling down low. Too bad the other “6’8” or taller” guys on the roster didn’t get the memo.

Another good effort and decent results by Kostas. He has made some great progress since mid season, and is a different player. The future is bright.

I do not remember our guys giving up in any other game, maybe GM, but they have given up on both ends.
21-6 on turnovers.

Ohio State- Indiana is on.
Might be more fun to watch the Hoosiers lose than to watch us get hammered.

I truly do not believe they have given up. Demoralized. Yes. But this team is sooooo much better than we are right now. In every single phase of the game.
