Haven't seen BC this year but last year my recollection is that Olivier Hanlan was a stud - one of the very best in the country but didn't have much to work with as far as surrounding cast. But he could win games by himself. For those who have seen B.C. this year, how do they look? Do they have more than Hanlan to worry about? My thinking is KKyle Davis is the key to this game. If he can stay out of foul trouble and minimize Hanlan on the defensive end, Dayton wins. Thoughts?

Game looks like a push
BC stats:
http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/...ason_stats.pdf
For all that length, they don't dominate the boards.
Worse start than us at the 3pt line.
The big guards could be problematic just like A&M.

Spoke to Cliffords Dad two days ago…...he's been injured for the better part of the past 2 years I believe! Really he's playing for the first time in a while so despite there "size" I'm not surprised by there relative lack of a solid rebounding stats.
Based upon what I saw from our bigs against U Conn, I think we'll win the battle of the boards!
I think we win this one and come home relatively "happy"------just most "fans"----NOT coach ARCHIE (thank goodness).

7:00 left in ND-Providence game, on ESPN2. Score 61-58 ND. Why do I feel we're going to get stuck with an OT game here?

Could be, Smitty.
Watching Henton and thinking that he sure would have looked good in a Flyer uniform.

Right after I say that, we jack four consecutive 3s, miss them all and BC cuts it to 2.

Judging from what Larry and Brooks are saying, we might be suffering from a lack of motivation since this isn't the Championship game and/or the opponent doesn't strike fear into most hearts. If they need any motivation they can use the fact that this could end up being a borderline bad loss if they can't close things out. We need games like this in building that at-large resume. Let's take the 2nd half by the horns. Next game isn't for 6 more days!

Robinson looks tired and lethargic. The Flyers are just lacking energy at this point. This is nothing like their first two games.

Our passing is dreadful. D. Davis is a superb young player, but you can't throw a hard pass up high to a cutter to the bucket. I wish coaches would teach the bounce pass; it is a dying part of the game, unfortunately.

Box out! This is not a matter of talent. The Flyers are just playing lazy basketball. You put the red and blue on, you play your butt off or sit down.

We need Bass and Rogers. Archie found a way to win today even though we didn't play great. Huge defensive effort, really enjoy watching the hustle.

go back to my favorite Fraschilla - "Early in the season you win with experience and toughness but as the season goes on you have to start winning with execution.
The Flyers are a work in progress as Archie said they would be.

Throughout the three games, our fans received both notice and praise for following the Flyers and travelling well. They were my MVP.
