#1 Player in Country John Wall Charged with B&E
It will be interesting to see how this affects his recruitment:

There has been a lot of talk here about Dunbar's Geron Johnson who faces similar legal issues. You wonder what these guys are thinking.

I heard that this may have just been a mix up but this just adds to circus that has been Wall's recruitment.

His recruitment has already been a complete fiasco of his own doing. He just keeps dragging everyone along and won't make a decision. He even went and visited North Carolina Central this weekend. I just don't know if its worth all of this for a kid who is going to only play one year of college ball.

Looking at the picture of Mr. Wall in the article I would have thought he was atleast 28 not 18.

"Authorities said Wall, 18, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering in connection with an April 27 break-in at an unoccupied home at 3924 Laurel Glen Drive in Raleigh.
An officer saw Wall leaving from the rear of the residence and was able to detain him, police said. Police said there was no forced entry at the residence and no indication that anything was taken from it."
So he and some buddies were screwing around and went into an abandoned building through an unlocked door??? I can't say that is exactly unnatural behavior for a 17 or 18 year old kid.

NBFlyer:
You think Wall's recruitment is bizarre? Check out this story on the romancing of another top recruit, Renardo Sidney, which includes his dad being hired as a consultant for Reebok:

Strange thing is that no one knows what Sidney's dad does for Reebok. You know it's bad when USC walks away from a kid with this kind of potential.
