When the new video boards were set up, athletic admin. made the decision not to replay any controversial plays. Maybe they're afraid it will incite the Dayton crowd?

Gavrilovic should be a solid player for the Flyers for the next 4 years. Plays with a lot of poise for a frosh.

Horrible D by FIU there. If it's time to foul, why wait until 11 left on the shot clock?

Never in my wildest dreams did I think this game would turn out the way it did--congrats to both Archie and the players
Never thought they'd cover the point spread

This could be a pivotal game for the Flyers. Their man-to-man defense was very effective...created a lot of turnovers. Also, we found a way to beat the zone in the paint. Alex G. was instrumental in breaking up the zone. I agree with Larry and Bucky, Alex is the player of the game. Parker played very well and largely under control in the second half.

Kudos to Archie for whatever he said at halftime to turn this game around in the 2nd half.

I hope the guy, or two, who made the negative comments about Alex like he looks like he will never amount to anything were paying attention tonight. I have said from day 1, this is a kid who has all the tools except jumping. As Bucky noted, he is so quick getting his shot off. Something Kurt could not do.

Bucky's comments on Gavrilovic: "Gav shows a lot of emotion. He's really in the game."

Ok ZONE, they played it and lost and we won the game because of our 2nd half man defense
We are now 3-0 since I changed my avitar to the "terrible towel" baby!!!

St. Joes up on Villanova....
....by 16 with 3:30 to play. For the Hawks, beating VU is like UD over X.

I had to leave at the half, and resigned myself to an ugly loss - lo and behold, just got back to see that the Flyers won by 21!?
How did we outscore them 39-10 in the 2nd half? They were kicking our butt. Is my math right?
I was hoping Gav would have a good game to make up for Fab. I didn't see him do too much in the 1st half.
I also like the fact that Oliver played a lot of minutes. Get him some seasoning and he will be good.

We clamped down on D and Parker and Gavrilovic came through Big Time. Oliver did his part too. Plus, I think FIU got tired,,,,they gave up a ton of turn overs.

Tirebiter- Where do you sit at? I volunteer to lead the posse to escort your butt out the door at halftime of every game if tonight is any indication of what you will miss.

For all his lapses Josh Parker has turned up big , when other guards haven't had it and we aren't hitting outside shots.
Guy def has little conscience. But when you are on a roll..... that's a good thing. Go Josh
