Must Watch McKinley Wright game tonight
The top 2 teams in the state, Champlin Park and Maple Grove, go head to head in their only matchup this year (it is at MG). They are two of the top 20 teams in the nation.
Also, McKinley goes head to head against Brad Davison who signed with Wisconsin and was offered by Archie & crew. Possibly the two front runners for Minnesota Mr. Basketball.
Game is at 8 PM and will be streamed on:

Should be fun to watch!

Wow, McKinley Wright is looking good in the game - superb court awareness, great passer, and something I love in a point guard...ability to penetrate into the paint, and rather than getting smothered by defenders, he stops and pops the 8-foot jumper with nice accuracy. He has a teammate at center who looks to have a strong game as well.

Wright is very impressive. Has good pg skills, quickness and can really score the ball.

Looked to be against pretty good competition. I know it is only one game, but he looks college ready. Good handle. Could finish with both hands. Under control. Nice shot. Free throws look good. Looked tenacious on defense.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching McKinley Wright play tonight. 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. I like the way he disects the defense. When he drives its either a pull-up jumper, a pass to an open teammate in the corner, or a lightning fast drive if he sees a open lane to the basket!
Champlin Park's coach would have liked to have had more points in transition but I thought overall they played well and shared the ball.

I did not see the game, and not trying to be a debbie downer asking this question, but curious, what area of the game is Wright still weak and need to work on the most?

Wright is like most offensive studs in HS, that is he lacks defensive intensity. He can hit the three, but needs some work.
