The Art of Recruiting
Duquesne University announced the hiring of a new assistant; Steve Hall the Detroit high school basketball coach of Eric Evans (a prospective Mr Basketball in Michigan this past year) and Shawntez Patterson a 6'7" forward both of whom signed with Duquesne this past spring. Which came first the chicken or the egg? Could it be offering jobs to hungry high school coaches is a way to get recruits? Duquesne did the same thing a couple of years back with the prep school coach in Boston and picked up two quality recruits then as well.

In related news I heard that the DU players who were shot last year are suing the school.
Because as we all know everything is someone else's fault.
