Spring Purdue Tourney
okay...Brittany tweeted that we should all "check us out" at the Purdue Spring Tourney and I was watching twitter all weekend hoping for updates and also on df.com and I've seen nothing. Zero, zip, nada. Anyone have ANY info on how the team did this past weekend? Thanks!

Here is why no feedback from the tournement
At the Purdue tournament, the Boilermakers hosted the University of Indianapolis (25-16, 25-23, 25-19) and Dayton (25-20, 25-22, 25-11). Nichol led the way with 18 kills for the tournament. Griffin followed with 16 and Jones tallied 13. Defensive specialist Amanda Miller led the way with 32 digs, while Fox and Nichol followed with 19 and 18. The team's leading blocker was Jones, with nine.
Apparently UD was totally outplayed. 25-20, 25-22, is respectable but 25-11 is awful. Is Purdue that good or are we over rated. Not a good showing.

The feedback I got was that Shef was p...ed after the Purdue tournament. Part of the reason for not going to the Louisville spring match - other than they did not have a setter - was that we needed to get in the gym and work on things.

Graduation, transfers, injury. There was the thought maybe we could bring Yanz and have her set for them but that did not work out. If we were going to make the trip, it needed to be productive. I think Shef just wanted to get back in the gym and kick butt after the Purdue fiasco.

All-American status go to somebodies head! We only lost one to graduation. Transfers?
