Serious question. Why does the arena not have a portable back up shot clock to sit on the baseline at each end? $200 and you are good to go

We have got to get on the boards. We must have given up 6 offensive rebounds in three possessions. St Louis has 17 offensive rebounds.

Once again we have started with the give Crutcher the ball and let him dribble and shoot. Crutcher is 4-13. For 30 minutes we pass and share the ball and the shooting, now this again. Chatman has to take over the point for the rest of the game.

This is what we’ve been hoping for all season. A team, playing as a TEAM. If this TEAM takes the court for the next month, we have a chance to win the A-10 Tournament and get into The Dance. Come on, guys! YOU CAN DO EET!

Tonight was a vindication and a sign that we can still have a good season. Forget Fordham and LaSalle. From tonight on, play this way and we dance.

I have never, ever, seen a team lose the offensive rebounding stat 21-4 and win the game by 20+ points. Credit to the UD defense in the first half, and absolute bricklaying by SLU in the second half.

Not to be negative after a great win, but are Fraser and Sisouko hurt, or are they out the door?

The 21 offensive player rebounds was the most since I've got opponent stats in 2009-10 season. As well as the -17 differential.
In 2010, we beat La Salle by 14 with a -11 offensive differential, and last year against Rhode Island, we had a -10 offensive differential and won by 14.
Does not include team offensive rebounds
Code:

29-Nov-2015 vsN. Xavier (L) | -10 | 61 | 90 | -29
In 2014, we had a +13 point offensive rebound differential, and lost to Saint Josephs by 26.

Answer: Yes, Zimi got the nod, and Mustapha came off the bench. Perhaps both recognition of Zimi’s effort at Rhody and Mustapha’s recent struggles as a starter. In either case, it worked. And now, if it ain’t broke...

Fantastic stats, Figgie. I thought that game had to be an outlier.
Interesting that UD is 8-2 in in its worst OReb Margin games. Sure, that stat means the other team is probably missing a lot of shots, but I wouldn't have expected it to be that lopsided.

Who would have also thought the losing team could shoot the ball 20 more times and lose by 23???

Yea, but starting really doesn’t mean that much as evidenced by the fact that Amzil played 28 minutes to Zimi’s 25. It just depends on the flow of the game.

Congrats to the Flyers and Coaching Staff
the two wins over SLU this year are the best wins of the year. The Flyers have made their presence felt by taking down the best NET ranked team in the A-10 twice. The Flyers have a chance to put SBU on the bubble if they can get by SJU and then beat SBU in Olean. The role of spoiler is a natural after having their Final Four NCAA tournament spoiled in 2020. Go Flyers!

Nevertheless it was a Brilliant and well needed adjustment!
Something needed shaking up. And I'm pretty and happily surprisedby this win and NY the amount.
We won by.

I’m no Figgie but I watched the second half very carefully and counted only 12 offensive rebounds as opposed to the 16 on the stat sheet. The 12 I had were on the following kinds of shots:
6 missed 3 point attempts
2 missed tip-ins
1 missed FT
3 missed jumpers
The vast majority of them happened with under 10 minutes to go.
