George Washington (Part 2) Game Thread

Solid win yesterday against them... Back at it with the Colonials again in a couple days this time at the Arena.

Game is at 7 PM on Wednesday Night and will be on ESPN+. Not sure if it's going to be on Spectrum.

Will be interesting to see if Coach Christian puts another big guy (like Moyer) on Jalen, like he did in the 2nd half.

Get the job done, before we head on the road for a couple tough games against VCU and SLU... Go UD!

This is the mother of all trap games. GW has quite an advantage of being able to dissect the first game and make adjustments, with 3 day turnaround knowing the same personnel will be on the floor(though they might get some key players back from injury). The Flyers were favored by 9 Saturday and I'm guessing, being on home court(as empty as stands will be) and winning by 13 on neutral court, the line will be jacked up even higher. I'm jumping on GW and the points(still expecting Flyers' win).

Absolutely a trap game. After our insane shooting in the first 5 minutes of the first half, they actually outscored us. They have the talent to hang around and steal this one. Our ability to finish in close games has been very good. We are going to need it again.

Also they are collecting a nice covey of players for next season. They should be top tier.

The announcer, McCormick, was all over this one, and the Flyer defense was not, stop James Bishop from going left. I suspect Grant has drilled it in their heads.

I look forward to GW trying to put Moyer on Jalen. Jalen was running clock most of the second half so he took a bunch of bumping and bruises, but this game he will blow by Moyer like he is in cement.
