Why don’t we put Weaver in and give him some reps. Ibi is not giving us much.

Great offensive possession, guys. Pi$$ away 26 seconds, and then have Crutcher fire-up a 30-footer.
Posted via Mobile Device
And then, Ibi fires up a 3. Great leadership, Seniors!

If we could've kept all the other Rams from scoring besides Bones, we'd be winning this game.

Trapping in the half court? With a 27 point lead? Remember that, Flyers.
They did take Bones out, but that might have been because he got clocked on a pick at midcourt that last time down.

Let 'em. This team deserves to be embarrassed. You don't want to get embarrassed, that's on you, not your opponent.

Yes, and he needs to double his weight too, but at least he tried and did not play intimidated like all the rest of the team.

Listen, I've been civil. Different opinions are not wrong, simply different. I think we both want the same results. I think my assessment was fair and a little realistic. I get your opinion. But it's nothing more than just that.
Get over it.

The fall from Grace is troubling. Better get 2 or 3 really good transfers..Weaver is not a pt Guard and we need front court help in a big way. The Fordham game was no fluke.

Wow, that was absolutely abysmal. Looked like a Jim O team today.
We're through the easy part of our schedule, and we still have nothing. Not good!

VCU Had a Great Game Plan
Take Crutcher and Watson out of the game with "D" and let Dayton try to beat us with Jordan Chimichanga. UD apparently did not have a game plan or an idea that surfaced from the coaching staff the entire game.

They should be forced to watch the replay of this game...twice. And, as they do, focus on the hustle and determination exhibited by their opponent. I don’t believe that, top-to-bottom, VCU has that much more talent than us. They just wanted it a he!!uva lot more, for all 40 minutes.

Can't make 3s and get 75 percent of your inside shots rejected, how would you have coached out of that?
The ball movement was atrocious, so maybe that was the key to getting better shots and keeping their defensive timing off. Other than that, we looked totally overmatched.

Nothing they could have done today, but if a guy can’t jump, he needs to learn how to finish inside through contact. Lots of guys “back in my day” could do it. Moses Malone. Mark Aguirre. Adrian Dantley. Even our own Roosevelt Chapman (though Velvet did have some hops). Don’t try to go through the defender - get him on your hip, and make him reach. Easier said than done, I know, but that’s 1 suggestion.

At that point, the game was kind of like “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” (where the points don’t matter), but I’ll still consider that as reason for hope for the future.
