Evans not playing against Richmond. Will he be ready on Tuesday?
Can't imagine sitting him vs Richmond in anticipation of UD if he could play. VCU needs every game to get into A10 double buy and ultimately any NCAA discussion.

going to be another brutal tough game Tuesday night but I am tired of doubting this flyers team especially against good competition. Are they due for a loss or two before the season ends? Absolutely but they just seem to know how to play against good teams and know what's on the line.

VCU is not a good team right now. I was worried about them for awhile, but with how they have played the last 4 games, I am nowhere near as worried as I was. They were down 14 with 2:42 left at home vs Mason the other night. Thanks to Mason being who they are, VCU was able to cut it to 5. But their last few games have been brutal. Richmond owned them from start to finish today.

And as our spotty record of holding big leads, like today, indicates that anything is possible. Would like to see us go out big and stay out.

If we lose to VCU I'm guessing the URI road environment will eclipse this. So another words take care of business tonight and don't let it come down to the URI game.

The URI game won't matter . They will lose to Davidson this week giving them three losses.

Jerry Palm on VCU/UD:

VCU is in a hole after losing three of its last four, including a home loss to George Mason, its worst of the season by far. The Rams are 2-7 vs Q1-2 with both wins coming at home against LSU and Richmond. The Spiders blew them out in the rematch on Saturday. Things are bad enough that a win over Dayton may be necessary to give them a chance at a bid. There is nobody left on the schedule that can help them.
