These free layups and open lanes are killing us. We need Pollard back in the game and plant him in the lane.

why is Bobby getting these minutes> he's wide open on the baseline but too slow so we can't feed him. He can't get a board. If we're going down, we might as well play the a players.

Their moving picks are what is preventing us from effectively switching like we normally do. Not called once today.

This sucks. Freaking short turn around game, flu riddled team and playing a horse **** team we can't afford to lose to. Perfect storm...
I'd hate to think this dream season could be derailed by one bad performance, but that might be the case.

I'll take the three-point play for Pierre, but I didn't see much of a foul there. If referees want to call fouls on that much contact, teams better dress 20 players each.

The difference in Pierre or Pollard catching the ball on the block extended versus Werhli is staggering. The offense is completely different.

I would love to break the hearts of the Duke fans at Consol and do it again.

The defense just didn't show up today. It is nearly impossible to win a game with the opposition getting 50 points in the paint.

Sibert 2-10 on threes, and that is a huge reason we cannot beat the zone. He has not looked for a shot in a long time.

Today's kyle Davis is the one I have seen when I watched. I don't want him taking layups. Putrid.
Scooch turning over the ball and Rim is covered for KP this half and DD ALL game.
These dukes came fired up. Hats off to them.
Still time! !!! Go Flyers

Just a sad performance overall. Sucks to have 5 must win games in a row. They probably saw the light at the end of the tunnel with the Mason game coming up. That combined with the 40 some hour turnaround cost them.

That last played summed up our defense. Get the shot clock down and have two guys covering under the basket and we still allow the catch and layup

With 1:30 left, Duquesne has 49 points in the paint. And now, for what it's worth, Pollard has fouled out of his third game in the last four with only the "concussion game" as the one (if I'm not mistaken).

Unfortunately this is the downside of playing in the Atlantic 10: You risk losing to a team that is 250 in the RPI.

One of my few criticisms of Archie -- down 10+ versus Davidson, Arkansas, Dukes -- we change nothing. Don't full court press or go zone or anything.

Pierre had a great game, and Scoochie OK. The rest were team terrible. Worst games of the year for both Kyle and Pollard.

Totally agree; and I think having beaten them soundly at UD arena didn't help the mental prep for todays game. I think this game has a potential to sink UD's NCAA hopes depending on how the rest of the season unfolds.

I know it's easy to say while sitting here, but Pollard has to stay out of foul trouble. Extended minutes from Werhli are rough.

Our Flyers were obviously gassed most of the game. After a nice opening 5 minutes, their bodies lost the zip, thus the Dukes lay-up merry-go-round and clank city at the stripe.
Without a nice run in the A-10 tournament, we'll need 3-1 the rest of the way to dance.

It was coming....
......our ranks are thin and there was a fast turnaround incl travel. But, our lack of depth may finally be catching up with us.
I was out of the house Thurs evening' but recorded the St. Joes game. I watched the game yesterday and, frankly, was surprised. That game could have gone either way...Dayton was very lucky to pull it out.
When you go ten minutes in the second half without a FG, at home, against one of the weaker A10 teams...the red flags start waving, big time.
Hopefully the guys will be able to rest and refresh. Wednesday is a must.
Go Flyers!

There was high trapping and pressure for about 7 minutes remaining
Nothing was gonna get it done today

Did you see the trapping zone that ALSO didn't work? One of those days and the guys are smoked physically and mentally.

Worst defense I've seen from us in a very long time. Hedges sucked, their picking guy was open and open down low and in the lane ALL second half. So many mismatches and missed switches and assignments it was baffling.
Think they had some good players but we made them look twice as good today!

Yep..They simply lost this game defensively...Had plenty of good open looks but shots didn't fall and they put undo pressure on themselves when they can't get defensive stops and the deficit started to swell. All of a sudden that cylinder starts getting smaller and smaller..
