"Chris Wright simply fumbled it away"
Can someone please tell me if he dribbled it off his foot. I maintain he does 3 times a game
Wait, before I could even hit "post reply" Bucky says "Wright fumbled it away again". Back to back possessions.
One of those had to be off his foot.

Make that 3 turnovers the last 3 times CW has tried to drive to the hoop.
@Gazoo I don't think it was technically off his foot. He just lost the dribble.

Yes,
I don't think SLU shoots 24 3's if Rick is on the sidelines.
They go 5-24
19-52 for the game

Although even with a coach I don't think they find an answer for CJ and CW. SLU is too young and not quite as athletic.

really nice to see CJ take that ball all the way up the court and finish at the end there. I want to keep seeingthat!
Nice road win. Never pretty when we play those guys.
Also, we don't play SLU again until March, and I wouldn't mind seeing them run off a bunch of wins before then.

That was a mediocre team that we should have beaten worse. I am a huge BG fan and defender, but he almost blew this one. We were rolling with about 12 minutes and he puts in Parker at point, Fab, Oliver and Searcy at the same time. That is when we slowed down and lost all our momentum. What is with coaches who instead of playing one or two not so good guys at a time, put them in together. We crashed and burned at that point and never got our momentum back.
What happened to Kav and Benson in the 2nd half?

Despite the Vegas odds, we knew that we should win. Would have loved to have made a statement in our first A-10 game, but an away win by 10 is always great. Remember what happened at SLU last year -- this was the game that put us in the NIT.
I am psyched, and looking forward to UMASS. Go FLYERS!

I was nervous also at this point in the game. I wonder if Majerus was coaching if he would have employed this tactic at the end of the game.
Nice to get a road win but this team we beat tonight wasn't that much better then Central Connecticut or Eastern Tennessee IMHO. If Reed and Mitchell red shirt this year, watch out for SLU in the following two years. I don't believe that X with all their illustrious recruits will be able to top them.

Here comes the first game where a team plays Hack-a-Staten
|
Foul shooting by Staten, Wright, and Spearman is going to cost us a game somewhere down the road in the A-10.

Let's see, we win a game by 10 we were favored to win by 1 at Slu where we have lost the last two years and we weren't perfect. Enjoy the ride no matter how bumpy. 13-3 baby!

Where was Kiefaber 455 tonight. Tough to complain when you lead from the opening tip. Still plenty to work on but a road win makes it better.

Just got back from my favorite local pub - South Park Tavern - where I enjoyed beer, pizza, and another Flyer victory. Time to check out the game thread (I'm sure we did miserably).

Many thanks to Lebron James for the game updates...including scores, fouls, to's, time remaining, etc.!

get your eyes and ears checked.
Flyers have played awesome, lets just come out with same intensity and put them away early

Wait, before I could even hit "post reply" Bucky says "Wright fumbled it away again". Back to back possessions.
One of those had to be off his foot.

Gazoo - what is with your Chris Wright foot fetish?

Pretty sure most of these posts were taken out of context. Mine was a joke based on C-Time saying people weren't complaining enough. Most of the others were pretty corrrect except for the political one
