They're confusing everybody, Searcy and Wright have been interchangeable all night.

CJ shaken up. Looks like he maybe pulled something in his leg. Walked off the court and seems to be OK

38 of our 76 points have come from guards. For what it is worth?

You don't see teams out of timeouts with 4:00+ remaining too often.

What's the record for attempted time outs in a game? FAMU is up to 8 and counting.

Thoughts on the game:
Sexiest national anthem ever at UD.
Spearman played well. He has unusual strength for a frosh. I like his leaping ability and long arms.
Benson played well.
FAMU was bad.
I was pleased with the Flyers effort tonight. I wasn't giddy because I think we can still be so much better.

I heard it, too, but I don't think you can call a timeout unless you have possession of the ball. The guy with the ball had enough sense not to call it.

Team looked improved tonight. D still needs to tighten up, and if it does, this team can be pretty good and make some noise.
Gotta love what Staten, Spearman, Parker, and Benson brought tonight.

To add to that, 43 of the 80 points we scored were from guys who weren't on the court last year. That's a very good sign offensively from our newcomers.
We still have work to do in terms of perimeter defense and executing plays against the zone. But we looked pretty good tonight. Lots of crisp passing, less dribbling. Pushing it up the court more. And even though we didn't shoot that well from three, we took the right shots. CJ still needs to get to the rim a bit more and stop settling for jumpers, but all in all, a pretty good outing once we got it going in the second half.

I'm not sure I want CJ driving to the rim too much. He didn't hit a lot last night, but I have as much confidence in his outside shot as anyone besides Fabrizius. His set shot is just beautiful and smooth. He is a real weapon on the 3pt line, IMO.
I noticed last night that when Juwan is driving in the paint, he is creating the most wide-open shots on the 3pt arc that I have ever seen UD get. There were a couple of shots that we had last night (that Juwan created by kicking out of the lane) where our shooter didn't have anyone within 15 feet of him. Juwan is becoming the straw that stirs the drink for us on offense.
I felt that I saw a lot of development from Benson last night. He was comfortable on the court, and not rushed. He really has a knack for scoring in unorhtodox ways around the hoop. He still has work to do defensively, but I am feeling better about Wrights graduation next year.
It's a great compliment to Spearman that I felt we didn't have drop-off when he replaced Paul Williams last night.
I wish we had a little more of a physical presence down low. Benson and Searcy are getting there, but a team like UC will challenge us physically.

We are learning while we are winning. Can't knock that. Now I think we need this UC game to set the bar higher. Timing is good. Let's see what we have.
