UD is playing very well so far. Looks like a lot of conference teams are.

Like 6 - 1 Saint Louis, and undefeated George Washington and UMass.

It's funny this year that we have the most ticked off fanbase of a 6-1 team I've ever seen. I don't think there's been one game we've been happy with yet.

You guys are winning, but not impressively. But the important thing is to get that W.

Not sure about that. . . I think most of us were happy with the games against Gonzaga, Baylor and Cal . . . . can say for sure I was and so was Jay Bilas . . . .

Happy happy here. I was OK even with the loss to Baylor. Disappointed, but not ticked off. Ticked off fans are usually those with unrealistic expectations, like my brother from the school down south. I watched the X game with him last night, and he was ticked off that they lost in OT to an Iowa team that, despite their ranking, is not that good.

El Shaqtus was talking about his team's fan base - i.e. St Louis. Preseason, much more was expected of the Billikins than the Flyers.
Whether Jim Crews is the right coach for St Louis remains to be seen (same goes for his boy Chris Mack at Xavier).

I understand the SLU fans' concerns. Except for Wisconsin, they really haven't played anybody yet (two were road rivalry games, so always tougher even though the opponents (SIU-E and SIU) were weaker) and haven't absolutely curb-stomped anybody. No shame in losing to Wisconsin. Even if SLU is top-25 caliber, that's still a good loss. Missed chance, but good loss. They'll get their chances (including Wichita State this weekend).
Dayton fans were mostly the same way after the first three home games against weaker foes. The GT game gave us hope. The Gonzaga game excited us. The Baylor game...oooh what a missed opportunity, but still a successful Maui trip after a convincing win over Cal.
