2019: NCAABB Attendance Vs % Capacity
Don't recall seeing this posted -- hopefully not a repeat ...
Here's the 2020 NCAA attendance report for season completed in March:
http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/m_bask...021/Attend.pdf
UD maxed out at #23 with almost all sellouts:
A-10 average is predictably sorry, just ahead of C-USA:
But we are suppressed by bandbox gyms like St Joe & Fordham, so ...
A stathead on Reddit posted this useful matrix of attendance vs % capacity, handicapping the smaller schools & venues (presumably 2018-19 season):

Takeaways?
-- UD & VCU lead the way .. Mike Rhoades needs to keep VCU competitive
-- More entertainment options in St Louis, but SLU should do better then ~65% with a 10k seat on-campus arena. Tough break for them with high hopes this season and possibly few if any fans
-- Same story, but Duquesne needs to improve after their fieldhouse renovation ... trailing Fordham under 60% along with GW, LaSalle
-- Davidson & St Bona respectable ~72%, although both could be better being an hour from larger markets
-- Rhody just above ~76%
-- St Joe pushing 90%, Richmond 80%
-- Geo Mason 44%, non-factor since cinderella Final Four run
-- UMass worst in league, 28% capacity. For as much grief as we give Fordham, and rightfully so, that's awful.

What is the A10 average without UD?
Nebraska and Texas Tech are surprises to me, did not realize that their fan support was so strong.
