2nd Best Part of Last Night
The best part of yesterday was having Devin back in the Arena!
But the 2nd best part was the dude that sang the National Anthem. Other than Dr. Willie playing the alto sax, that was the best rendition I've ever heard at the arena. Does anyone know who that was? Is he a UD student?

The young man was outstanding.
I agree, one of the best, if not the best, vocal rendition in UD Arena history.

I didn't hear the actual anthem on WHIO radio but I do clearly recall Larry and Bucky remarking about what an outstanding job he did. I somehow got the impression that it was a 10 or 12-year-old boy. Didn't realize he was high school/college age.

His name is Alex Wunder and he's sang a similar rendition at the Dragons and at last year's Bengals Steelers game. I agree it was good - gave me chills as he finished.

Agree the national anthem last night was outstanding.
I will probably get crushed for this, but I would take last night over willies sax any day.

Why get crushed ? All Willie does is play a sax, it's nothing special, he'll Bill Clinton can play the sax

Yes, the singer last night was terrific. I'm not a fan at all of Dr Willie's interpretation of our National Anthem.

If it can be done, try to see and hear the National Anthem done by the 10 year old girl at the NY Jets game yesterday.

You guys made me Google this kid. I found a decent video of him at an Indians game:

In case you needed more evidence that the boy has chops, the interwebs led me to this duet:

Who was the guy that sang the National Anthem for so many years at Flyers games? Wasn't his name Jeff Comer?
