Sibert and Pierre Dunks
The Sibert 3 late in the game was shocking. I couldn't believe he took that shot. The guy is steel. But his loose ball dunk was more amazing. Same with Pierre's reverse dunk. Such an important and intense game, it is just amazing the confidence both guys had on the 3 plays. Can someone post the video of the Sibert and Pierre dunks?

Dave Jablonski tweeted this link to a gif of Pierre's nasty dunk: http://gifmaker.me/PlayFrameAnimatio...ddno8125RS8S1B
As an aside, I liked Doug Harris a lot, but think Jablonski does an excellent job covering UD for the DDN (I'm a subscriber, and still enjoy it).

Jablonski is good on Twitter. Harris rarely tweeted anything other than links to his stories.

Jablonski is doing a good job. There were 5 articles from him on the UMASS game. One included an interview with the VP of the NCAA Tournament who was at the game checking out the Flyers.

Pierre dunk
I wasn't a big fan of Pierre's dunk. Too risky in my book. He misses that and UD potentially loses the game. I'm not suggesting he lay it in softly but a two hand slam instead of a double clutch reverse slam is better.

I'm sorry guys. This might have been the safer play, but Dammit, the Arena needs more explosive plays. After this one, some of the seat-locked people in 302 even stood up and cheered. Dunks of this style, while still only counting for 2 pts, fire up a crowd better than free pizza.

Bucky said "He put some mustard on that one."
Good for him. This has been a ketchup and mayonaise team so far. Time to put some tobasco on it in Saint Louie!

just my observation...
In this one, I especially LOVE the 1 dude Standing up and cheering while the rest of the people are just sitting there.

Speaking of 1 dude standing up and cheering...
Isn't this THirt (from the DDN web site)?
How about the guy right behind him frowning (thinking sit down and let me watch the game)?

Guilty as charged! This would have been after my lovely wife took the kiddos up to the concourse for the last couple minutes. I commented that my section got a little louder after that!
