Scoochie going to the line now.
Free throws will make this not look close. But boy was it.

VCU was nice enough to send Kyle, Scooch, and Pollard to the line one at a time for some curtain calls.

We gave up 16 offensive rebounds, and 50 points in the paint. 50 points at point blank, hard to believe we won. Other than two threes and free throws, all of VCU points were point blank. That must be some kind of record for the last 25 years.

Great win and Archie mentioned that it was the type of game that gets you ready for March games.
Just wish Big Steve could have been part of it.

In my opinion Cunningham's 17 footer as the shot clock was expiring was the biggest bucket of the game...Congratulations to the Seniors!!!!

Big Steve was there! I had my "Heavenly Contingent" (My husband and other family members, his and mine) working overtime tonight. Steve was adding his magic wand too the mix. But I've been home for 90 mins and my heart is still pounding.

I disagree. It was tough on them to play those 2 road games back to back. The league did them no favors. Their problem has been outside shooting. They made 2 - 3s. Other than that, all other points were scored from around the basket. Face it, they had 2 real close calls. They could be 11-6 fighting for a double bye.

Sorry...I was making fun of a VCU fan whose Twitter account keeps getting linked here. She said VCU broke Dayton after the first game. I guess it was a little inside joke that maybe one person might get.
