Golden DNutz - URI

Lots of heros but how do you top Jordan Sibert's night?

I'll tell you how! By voting....for Sibert! Or a combo that includes Sibert.

Go Flyers!

My (kinda) Team!!!

Just SO impressed with this Team. Truly Special!

I want to vote for Pollard and Sibert, but defer to Pierre's upper class status.

Pierre and Sibert for me. Pollard will have his times next year and 2017 also. a True Stud. What a pickup in Pollard!

This team has cemented its position as one of the all time Flyer great teams, before they get to show their stuff in the tourney.

Simply incredible what they've accomplished so far. Just a solid group who are exponentially better than the sum of their parts. A joy to watch, even more fun to root for.

Thanks Flyers!

Hard to choose, but Pierre had a double-double to supplement Sibert's outstanding Senior Farewell. I went with the 2 original scholly upperclassmen. What an effort! What a team!

My heart said Pollard, as it always does. My brain said Sibert since he lit the place up...so logic says I should vote Pollard + Sibert.

But since when am I logical??

Which is why Sibert, and Sibert alone, got my Royal vote.

Talking

My first reaction was to vote for Rollo, for letting Pollard out of class. Then the students, filled the joint all the way up to section 407 row ZZ or whatever it is, and were on their feet the entire game. Overdue? Sure. But they answered the bell.

But as the lone senior, it was Sibert's night and his alone. Don't recall a senior send off like that since Velvet.

Jordan didn't miss a shot or a free throw. Not bad.

He will be missed.

Sibert's night overall trumps it, but it's hard to forget this start of a senior night.

You can thank me for lots of things* but not for Sibert's 2-year career in a UD uniform or for his efforts at UD's Senior Night ...

...for that we can thank Thad Matta, so never saw Sibert's potential beyond that of a practice player.

If you read some of his interviews, I think Jordan owned some of that him self. My knock on Matta is that he locks in on a rotation and doesn't develop his bench. He sure as heck could have used Jordan the previous 2 years but Ohio States loss was our gain.
