I wanted a piece of X. Oh well. Lets take care of our own business. I am just in awe that I am actually getting the game on TV here in Chicago. I am sure something will go wrong.

Luke must really like the Dukes. I could almost hear the "Ah, Sh@!, not again" from the Dukes' bench when Luke connected.

starting to get ou tof control and playtheir pace. don't think we want that.
also i thought DU was in a zone for a couple of possessions. if so, we need more exper. against zone as temple will likely bring that and in ncaa 's also .
OUR D was real good for first 10 minutes, now they are breakin it down.
LETS go Flyers!

I hope MJ settles down and finds his shot... I don't think I've ever seen him miss 2 in a row as badly as those first 2.

Must be a bad shooting background if MJ misses by that far when he is as open as he was.

Luke can't guard wings, I can't believe we have that lineup out there. He needs to guard slow posts or non-shooters.

We look like we've mentally checked in to a hotel in Miami, Philly, Kansas City or wherever we gets sent in the NCAAs. We certainly don't look interested in playing this game right now.

That was a shot clock violation, CJ gets hit in the head on the rebound and Duquesne ends up with the ball? Terrible.

Wright looks completely lost.
Gregory will be peeling paint in the locker room, that's for sure. Awful first half. Unacceptable, lazy effort thus far.

The refs should give us the option of just taking the ball out of bounds instead of shooting FT's.
Well down 6 for as bad as we have played and as well as Duquesne has shot it I guess isn't too horrible.
Hopefully BG's halftime speech fires them up and they decide to play the second half.

Going to get shot for saying this but Chris Wright has played worse than Huelsman
Thomas probably got another cracked rib while taking a charge and his teammates play like crap

He's not playing defense either. Lets his man slip to the bucket for an easy layup to close out the half.
Not a good half at all for the Flyers. They are lucky to only be down by 6.

CW is not in foul trouble tonight, 1 foul and he sits 8-10 mins, totally unacceptable

Lazy - that's the best way to decribe that first half effort. Too many wide open shots and layups. Play some **** defense and quit embarrassing yourselves!

They're sticking to what got them where they are...going to the tourney. Why change things now?
We're losing this game because our defense is awful compared how they usually play d. Plus, Duq. has the best player on the floor, and he's schooling two very good defensive players, LW & MJ. Step up the defense in the 2nd half, make more then 50% of our ft's and we'll be fine.

Maybe we need to send JD Grigsby and Chris's Mom to yell at him at halftime because he is currently a no-show at the moment.

Coach Everhart has thrown a few wrinkles at us. A cagey veteran. It looked to me like he played slow down at first with a man to man. And then he used two kinds of zone later. We need to figure it out. Good thing it's half.

I wouldn't call it a play. CW lost his man and Jackson found him for an easy layup. If CW doesn't lose his man Jackson is forced to take a tough 18 foot jump shot at the end of the half.

Yeah. I'm sure he got those two rebounds because he's a waste. Get real. A guy makes a couple good plays and you can't recognize it and say yeah!

Trying not to be negative, but how many shots and put-backs has KH taken tonight? Just seems like they're getting the pass to him, but rather than backing down the defender, he keeps kicking it back out. Grabbed and offensive rebound under the basket, but didn't go back up with it.
Frustrating first half all around. Figured it would interesting with Demayo.

If CW wants to play at the next level, he better learn how to play on back to back nights. The scouts are watching Chris, step it up!

Dayton does not look prepared for this game. It's one thing to let Jackson beat you, but right now, it's Jackson, Bolding, and Saunders together who are beating us. We have to play more solid on both ends of the floor. The mistakes are piling up and that has to be corrected.
We are doing a nice job on the glass, but perhaps that is our sole saving grace at the moment. We have to figure out how to crack open their zone, and we have to defend a lot better so that we can beat that zone down the floor to get some more easy baskets. I do wish that Kurt would actually take a rebound up strong rather than immediately look to toss the ball out to the perimeter.
I still feel we can pull this one out. We just can allow them to get on a run in this second half and we have to play our game defensively, including being a little bit more aggressive and physical and raise our energy and intensity level. They have to show that they want this championship. It's theirs for the taking if they put the effort in.

Not necessarily. But at least take it back up when you're right under the basket and draw the foul.

They don't have a player over 6'7"--this game shouldn't even be close on the boards

Good thing its a 40 minute game. If UD can play some defense, I'm hoping that Duquesne loses its legs and doesn't shot 55% in the second half, but if UD continues to allow wide open looks and misses assignments, it doesn't matter if the Dukes have played 10 days in a row, they'll hit their shots.

It's pretty obvious that Jackson for the Dukes wants to win this game more than anyone else in boardwalk hall.

Just stay on this course and UD will be fine, except they need to limit the TO's.

Rebound goes right over Huelsman.....Jackson with the hoop and the harm with CW lazily getting back....they just aren't playing with passion...Duq is taking them behind the woodshed.

Aaron Jackson is just a man among boys tonight. He is doing whatever he wants and nobody wants to level him and let him know if he wants to get physical hes gonna get clothes-lined as payment.

this team is toast if it's going to rely on jumpshots to win this game

How do we keep losing their shooters in transition?? This is a terrible defensive effort. Jackson is not the second coming of LeBron James, so why are we making him look like it?

It's pretty obvious Jackson is easily the best player on either team and he has controlled this game from the beginning.

Where is CJ? Get him in the game. Keep him in the game. Our feet look a step slow tonight. I wish we'd post CW up a bit and get him the ball when he's already in the post. Having him out there on the perimeter is where they want him. No more threes chris. Get down low and make it happen. And stay alert on d.
I'm kind of amazed how few subs there have been in the second half so far. Must not have been any stoppages of play.

That is exactly right. No PASSION. Duquesne looks like they want this more than we do.

I would like to see Luke get some more looks. We have ridden him for 2 games I don't see why we should forget him now.
