My guess is that DaRon is returning for his junior—and final season—in Red and Chapel Blue.

we all support Deuce and know he gave a LOT of consideration
to all possibilities... having said that> I sure hope so too Swampy!
a lot of it may be the advise he got from NBA coaching staff and
scouts... Another year may very well vault him into 1st round ...
He has until 11:59pm today, so may not get an announcement
until tomorrow? and of course, any time between... we'll see!

64% of poll respondents agree with you. I'm less certain though. Not sure there's any value in delaying an announcement to return if that's the decision you have made. I think he's still weighing his options, but I have no insight or knowledge one way or the other.

Not saying it matters in what will happen but he did exactly this when he declared for the draft - waited until the last minute to declare even though he had to know he was doing it. Not sure this timing is a tea leaf on the other end either.

With NIL in play, it's a negotiation. And like any other negotiation, the best deals always happen in the last minutes.

Don't disagree, but if it was all about NIL money, he should also have put his name into the portal, even if he had no intention of transferring.

I found it interesting at least. Daron is 3 spots behind him in the same mock. Both below that magical #45 line.
I know there is little to no correlation between what Bona did and what Daron will do. It was just intersting read while waiting.

This guy probably knows squat about the Lakers and their draft leanings, but he’s in love with DaRon and is pushing him as the No. 47 pick. He posted this video just a day ago after DaRon had his Lakers workout. But — big BUT — I don’t put much stock in anyone’s opinion who lurches from calling him DAY-ron to just plain Darren.

Good news. Good choice for Holmes and for UD. This is now his team, and he can take them as far as he is able, and still improve his draft stock. Go Flyers!

The clouds have parted in Flyerland.
Deuce reminds me of Chris Wright, P-Man, and a few others over the years. Total class individual that was obviously raised in a house that puts a premium on things besides basketball. Such a class young man, well-spoken, kind to everybody, humble. He could go into the tiddlywinks business and be a success. Its a personality/disposition that Flyer fans gush over as part of that "intangible" we seek in our student athletes.
He can be an All American this year. He has that in him. Wheels up!
