2018 Wayne Prospect - LaChristian "Blue" Smith announced that he will be visiting UD for his second basketball visit
He is also a top prospect in football too. Believe OSU, Michigan, and Michigan St have offered him for football too
Lets keep the Wayne Train going, hope Blue is a flyer in a couple years!

Trey is a big time athlete. Fits Archies style of play and system perfectly. Think Kyle Davis with a better jumpsjot and more size.

One of my favorite highlight tapes of Wayne from last season. This was against #1 Findlay Prep.Treys highlights are the last shown.

This kid was a stud in middle school basketball. Did not see him his freshman year, but all reports are if he chooses basketball over football he will have his pick of top 10 schools in the country in either sport. Hopefully the Wayne connections help get him to UD, though we are probably dreaming to think he will stay home, as when it is all said and done he will more than likely be the best of the trio we would have from Wayne.

I was surprised that my son knows him. He went to the 6 th grade at Miamisburg Middle school , before transferring.

It is interesting that Fox Sports gives UD sports more coverage than WHIO. Of course WHIO has the football and basketball shows but as far as reporting news and interviewing players Fox seems to run far ahead.

There was a surprising amount of polish on Trey's game. Very excited for him to be a Flyer.

Thanks for posting, so much talent in that game (even caught a glimpse of myself)
I'm interested to see how Findlay's two guards do this season, Trier went to Arizona I believe, seemed like a bit of a hot head, but a solid all around game with a nice frame. Their PG was also a bit of a hot head, neither were prepared when Wayne wouldn't back down like I'm sure many others have before, but he somehow reclassified and rather than playing at Findlay again this year, he's playing at Duke. He's the most naturally talented HS kid I've seen in person since LeBron (not that I watch a ton of HS hoops), interested to see how he does there.
Any word on Wagner at Iowa, will he see much court time? Don't know how much X will play this season, but wouldn't mind seeing them matched up on one another for a bit.

Not expecting Ahmad to get a lot of playing time this year. His biggest problem is that he is an undersized power forward for Big Ten Basketball at 6'7. I honestly think he would of been better off playing Football. To each his own, I hope nothing but the best for him. I expect Trey Landers to have an immediate impact at UD once he arrives. I also expect the same for Roderick Caldwell at Bowling Green State.

I didn't realize Caldwell had committed. I think bgsu got a huge steal. Kid has game, just undersized.
