If memory serves me right, usually by noon tomorrow.

I am predicting we play at like 1210 on Thursday, I have already sent an email to cancel my one appointment on thursday afternoon!

Maybe they will let UD and OSU play the evening session due to the rivalry, etc.

But it is a 11-6 matchup with a high profile team. My bet is for the game to be in east coast prime time -- 7:00 pm.

Not true. I know for a fact we played tOSU in a home n home series, maybe even two home n home series in the late 1980's

Pretty sure we beat them last time we played them at the Arena, maybe '86 or '87...

It was a home and home in 88 and 89, I believe, and each team won on the other team's home court.

Not true. If memory serves (and it usually doesn't) I recall we played them a couple of times in the 70's/80's and beat them at least once or twice.

Seems to be a lot of chatter about the matchup. Would be surprised if it isn't in primetime.

We beat OSU two years in a row 86-87 season at UD...and the next year at St. John Arena in 87-88 season...Those were two tough seasons but one of the highlights being the wins over OSU...Unfortunately they smoked us the following year.

Are you sure? I thought we were still St. Mary's Institute the last time we played outside of a tournament.

Played them 85-86, 86-87, 87-88, and 88-89. Each team won one at home and one on the road. In the 87-88 season I watched my Flyers beat OSU at St. Johns while sitting in Rick Bay's seats!

Who hit the winning free throw in our one point win at OSU? Hint: he was tall.

I hope your right, but....

The other Buffalo bracket has Uconn vs St. Joes in the 7-10 game. Not too shabby of an east coast match up either.

I watched the game longtimefan referred to, where (white text) Troy McCracken hit the game winning FTs, in a tiny living room in a ghetto house, on a crappy 19" tube TV, with about 350 of my closest friends. I'm surprised the walls didn't crumble around us.

Was that the game where Gary Williams went berserk at the end of the game? I have that game on VHS somewhere.

I've got it worse than you guys. Driving from northern California to South Lake Tahoe on Thursday morning. It is about a three hour drive and the early game tips there are on Pacific Time. So if the Flyers have the early game, we will have to leave at 5am or so. And not the best environment to watch the game, in an empty sportsbook at 8am. And anyone that has been to Tahoe can attest to, the best sportsbook there is 10 times worse than the worst one in Vegas. Let's hope for a late tip off.

Plus side is that when we win, Saturday will be incredible.

Troy McCraken went to Greenon I believe. At St John he made the front end of a 1 and 1 with like a second left and missed the second. I seem to remember that he was a 54% ft shooter at the time.
