Rant by Southern Ill. Coach
Not about UD basketball, but still relevant to some of today's players and attitudes. I am sure Miller, and others, have felt like doing the same after a couple of games this year. I applaud the guy for calling his team out. Like he said today his only mistake was naming an individual player.

Either:
a) next time leave me out of it, or
b) darn right I could shoot better than some of those guys, and with less turnovers, but I would still roll my eyes at you

Hinson inherited a mess.
SIU made the post-season seven years in a row (01/02 thru 07/08), with two Sweet Sixteen appearances, but it's been all downhill after that. Chris Lowery was fired after an 8-23 season two years ago, leaving the program in disarray (I don't know how Oliver Purnell missed out on this one).

Anytime you can include sexual innuendos, Seal Team six, house training a puppy dog, snipers at half court, and your wife like 7 times you know your in the post game presser hall of fame.
Awesome.

Maybe he won the lottery and didn't tell anyone. I always said, if I won, I wouldn't quit my job but I would write some really good memos.

now see, this is the kind of coach I'd want running the team I root for. A win? Very happy. A bad loss? Look forward to the presser. You end up entertained no matter how your team plays.

Dillard played at SIU 08/09 and 09/10, sat out 10/11, and played at the U 11/12 and12/13.
SIU lost their entire class of 08/09 to transfers, de-commits, or withdrawels.
