First Lunardi bracket
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...l/bracketology
Has Ball State in as a 15 seed.
A10 as a two bid league, RI & Bonnies
No sign of us in first four out or even in next four out.
Hope we prove this wrong!

Let’s all remember, this bracket comes out before any NCAA sanctions or self imposed ones that may result from the investigations still going on. Looking at you Arizona, Louisville, and then with yesterday‘s news about big Ballers being arrested in China, UCLA .

Someone must have hacked into his site. A Lunardi preseason bracket without his beloved St Joe’s? Impossible!

I think the A10 will be a 3 bid league this year. We may not be part of that. But we should know a whole lot by the end of ooc. The above prediction on Ball State sure spices up our game with them.

In Palms preseason bracket, he has St Joe's as one of the first four out, Saint Bonnies as one of the last 4 in, and Rhody as a 6 seed, all seem reasonable, though i think St Bonnies will make the field around a 9 seed or better.

How on Rollo's green earth can St. Bonnie EVER be good? Their campus sucks...their gym sucks...Olean's weather sucks...their coeds are fat and ugly...no hotels within a day's walk...and they give out certificates instead of diplomas.
Clark State has more to offer an athlete than St. Bonnie.
At least Fordham has a city around it...same with LaSalle. But St. Bonnie?!
HOW?

I know it's early but after seeing this bracketology I think it's safe to call tomorrow's game a must win.

I just think that they have had a couple good head coaches lately. Jim Baron and Mark Schmidt.
The head coach is everything in college basketball. The hc is so extremely, critically important.

It would be safe to say all the games are make-or-break, but the reality is this team is going to stumble and it would be comforting to not have it happen in the first home game in front of 13k+ fans.
Charleston, away from home in a strong field, will tell us a whole lot more about our ooc chances, and our season's development challenges as well.

This, and Mark Schmidt has shown that he can adapt to his players. A few years ago they won with a dominating big guy in Nicholson. Now they are winning with the best guard tandem in the A10.

Can't agree on strong field
Charleston, away from home in a strong field, will tell us a whole lot more about our ooc chances, and our season's development challenges as well.[/QUOTE]
Perhaps this would be better discussed as a thread on the tourney, but the field is hardly strong. No team is ranked, none are even receiving votes ( except UD) none are currently forecast as NCAA teams. Auburn might be the strongest but under major stress from the NCCA scandal.
Espn has a preseason ranking showing AU, 35, Clem, 56, Temp, 60, Hof, 132, Ind St, 216, Ohio, 163, ODU, 103, UD, 98. Maybe mediocre rather than strong IMHO

Yeah, Charleston is going to be about perfect for our level this year.

As Maddog07 said the Charleston field is not anywhere close to being strong which should be perfect for UD this year as priceg75 said.

Yes, I stand corrected. The numbers don't lie. We are midpack, but in the right place this year for our situation. However, even more critical to win for our RPI.
