Are you sure you got our top 50 right? I read 2-4. But we have 3 wins over teams from 50-65.

I believe it was correct as of the "as of" time listed above. California (51) and Ole Miss (56) keep bouncing around 50. Baylor (60) has also fallen recently. You are correct. This morning it is 2-4.

We need to finish strong as we may be battling the three above schools for one of the final bids. As we win they should come down a few slots as well.

If they were doing a better job of defending their home court, they would be tourney bound for sure. After so many years of struggles on the road for this team, how strange is that?

You would like to think, that if it came down to one vs the other, UD would get the nod over Ol Miss (and California, though they did have a pretty big injury that game w/ the dude's eye)

The committee party line is that head to head does not come into play. It would be hard to ignore if it came down to 2 teams for 1 spot but that is what they say. So what you root for is them to do well enough to stay top 50 but not knock off anyone at the top. As it has been said many times, it is more about what we do than what anyone else does. Win 7 more games and we dance. Anything short of that and forget about it.

I'm not doubting you, but I have never heard/read that "head to head" does not come into play. Is this new?

My guess is we will finish:

Will need 1-2 wins in the A10 to punch our ticket.

I am going by memory. I looked around and as we all know, the selection criteria is not clearly documented. I found something this year that gave credit for "intent to schedule" So if you thought the teams you played were going to be good but they weren't, you still get some credit for trying.

I thought Central Michigan, illinois State, and USC (cough, cough) were going to have banner years.
Delaware State, not so much (though they're looking up after firing their coach).
