I don't want to find out. Home losses kill your RPI. We need Saturday. The cards are in our favor. Richmond plays tomorrow night against VCU at 9pm.

And you know how hard it is to have a 2-day turnaround between games!

Here's the 3 scenerios:
1) Our resmue is leaps and bounds better than any other bubble team, Lunardi may not give us much respect, but the committee will given our road wins. If we lose Saturday it will likely take 2 wins in Brooklyn. The first round game will be against a bottom feeder so it won't lock anything up, the key is the Richmond game because...
2) If we win on Saturday and then win the first round game in Brooklyn we should essentially be a solid lock no matter what happens after that.
3) We win on Saturday but then lose in the first round in Brooklyn, then we are sweating it out. We are likely still in, much closer to being in than on the outside looking in, however, a first round lose won't look good.
So how about we just take care of business Saturday and send DMO, Vee, and Kav out in style and breath easy going into Brooklyn and play for seeding purpose.

As far as I'm concerned we have to win vs Richmond. We win we are in. Lose and we have to make the finals in Brooklyn.

Great win tonight! That was an absolutely ENORMOUS win! But yes, unfortunately IMO they still need 2 more wins. 23 wins still is the magic number IMO. Beat Richmond and get the a10 first round win and let's dance.

My real hope is that we win the A10 tourney. Can't expect to win the dance if we're afraid of anyone in the A10 tournament.

On second thought, maybe only 1 more win is needed, I'm not sure. Maybe you and udflyer23 are right, maybe 1 more win will be enough. I don't want to take that chance though. I'm certainly no expert on this, I guess I'll just defer to the experts like Palm, Lunardi, etc.

1) Win Saturday. Must win.
2) Assuming SJU gets in (they should win Saturday to go 22-8), we would be the 6th team from the A-10. While "conferences don't get bids, schools do," the A-10 getting six bids would be completely unprecedented.
3) There are a projected eight slots still open to at large teams in the latest SI.com Bubble watch. The three horsemen from the SEC-opoclypse (Mizzou, Tennessee & Arkansas) are making a serious run at the tourney right now. SEC won't be a two bid league. Other teams like Colorado, Stanford, Baylor, & Ok State also have compelling resumes. Even if you discount the numerous also rans of the Big East, ACC & Big 10, there is very little margin for error.
4) Win the first two games of the A-10 tournament and make a respectable showing in the semi final game.
That gets us to 24-10 with a solid (not Gibraltar solid, but pretty darn good) resume. I think that gets us dancing.
