I officiated the Semis of the SWBL Jr High (8th grade) tournament last night and was told before the game that Middletown Madison has a kid with D1 written all over him. I hear this alot, so I took the comment and filed it in my royal back pocket.

And it only took 6 second for me to realize the official scorer was right as this 6'3" 150# kid jumped center, took the return pass and with the smoothness of Luke Kennard, drained a 20-footer. He spent most of the game keeping his teammates involved but whenever the team needed a basket, he just drove baseline or crashed the board. Up by 4 with under a minute to go in the first half, he scored 8 pts, all off drives and O-rbs. I'm guessing he had 25ish pts but easily could have scored 40.

He can drive left or right, hit 3s and FTs, has insane hops and - looking at his physical development, has alot of growing left.

Remember the name...this kid isn't just good, he's incredible.

If he already hasn't, Archie needs to get on this kid.
