I don't think he will play. 2 days after being reinstated and not having practiced with the team in 2 months?

I saw DP at the dry cleaner picking up his superman cape, that he plans to wear when he is announced in the starting line up.
42 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, 6 blocked shots in only 18 minutes of action.
Sorry, having a hard time taking this pole serious.

of course he plays. This is Miami, Number 1.
Number 2 - this is the Royal Canadian DP. Welcome back Dashawn!

Ler me get this right. All the other polls on this board can somehow be taken seriously, but not this one? Talk about a contradiction!
He will play; otherwise you should redshirt the guy. Since UD has been basically playing pick-up basketball anyway; why not pick the best pick-up player in the arena. UD will go shirts since we are playing skins.
As for how many points, just depends on how long you leave him in the game. DYSHAWN could score a dozen if you leave him in there.

He'll play 10+ to get the nervousness/ovation out of the way and the rust off.....have a week to work with coaches then start vs Ark.

I certainly understand Archie's stance on practice quality translating to playing time, but unless something goes horribly wrong Tuesday...Arch will allow Pierre to begin to get his sea legs under him.

It's an honest mistake. Pole dancing is now a Title IX sport.
Looks like the zero points voters win. Dyshawn won't play tonight.

Hard to score if you do not play. Wonder if he will even dress. We should beat Miami with four players.

With Arch's very evident disdain for this whole situation, I would expect him to dress and get the ovation he deserves, but not play.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bask...-dayton-flyers
"Dayton standout Dyshawn Pierre, suspended by the school for the first semester, returned to practice Sunday and could make his season debut on Dec. 30 against Arkansas."
""He looks great," Miller said. "I was surprised with how good he looked, to be honest. But he still hasn't played in months. He's missed 48 practices and 10 games. So we'll evaluate him on a day-to-day basis -- and he'll have to evaluate himself.""

I think that was the only choice Archie had. You can't play a guy in a competitive game 2 days after he rejoins your roster. We definitely could've used his zone-busting abilities, but since it did all work out, I'm fine with what went down.

That's my point... I'm calling out all the people that were so sure he'd play. Bold predictions. They need to Face the facts, man up and admit they were wrong. Think about it for a minute and acknowledge the point of view the other side had, after all they had some intelligence. There were 8 people on this board who knew what they were talking about and 61 dreamers. Those 61 people have been trash talking and putting down the "hateful 8". I would like those 8 to get some credit

Well congratulations buddy you had a prediction that was correct. Did you not get hugged enough as a child that you have to seek out reassurance on a little petty prediction exercise such as this?
Personally, I would rather see Dyshawn break himself in with a couple non-conference games. I don't see the harm with playing him 5-10 minutes when clearly we could have used him last night. My goodness, he would have been better than 1 or 2 other players that I don't need to point out.

My "Source" can beat up your "source" And your grandma.
Our Flyers are 9-2 with one game remaining in the non con schedule. We are #7 RPI having played the 10th hardest schedule. Several nice "Resume building" wins, no "bad losses". Plus it is 2 days before Christmas.
Let enjoy the season, and our Flyer success so far this season, and let Archie worry about who starts, when they get to come off the bench, and how much they play.

You were 100% right about him staying seated all night. And that speaks to the point of this thread. But you had to embellish it with Flyers filling the nets all night long. That didn't work out so well. Good call overall. You get one attaboy, and one awesh*t.
