The UNCG game is at 7 pm according to their site. Where did you come up with the rest?
Edit:
Also, the 12/23 game can't be right if the women play at 5:15 the same day. They reason for the 8 pm start on 11/6 is because it is a double header with a women's game at a 5:30 start. That makes a 7 pm start on 12/23 out of the question. CIC game times are probably right, but I don't believe they are set in stone as of yet.

9 PM against Xavier guarantees some form of National TV. Probably ESPN, to be honest. CBS College (CSTV) games started at 8 PM the last couple of years, IIRC.

Stubhub lists Dayton @ Creighton for a 1 pm start. Don't know how much stock I would put into it.

And to think I posted in the women's bb forum that fans would not come to this game because they'd be home watching the men play Creighton. With this start time most people will be at work, and I'll be home waiting for the school bus.

i kind of like the flow of earlyseason games. if i recall correctly, we had G Mason about 4th or 5th game last year. louisville was about game 9 or so
this year we ahve about 5 (hate to do this) fairly easy games followed by 2 tougher ones. then akron and creighton shortly after. allows for buildup and healthy prep going into auburn game.
if we win thru marquette we are potentially 7-0, with tough creigton game 11 days later. worst case scenario is 3 losses thru Marshall game .
also 12-4 or 11-5 possible, if games like miami or marshall don't go our way. still okay if we end up to p 3 in A10.

I think Auburn has a good chance of beating us. They are the most Experinced team the in the Nation. They have all been playing together for a while! And George Mason game was the 2nd of the season. The OOC games im most worried about are Marquette,Auburn,@Creighton,@Toledo,Miami (OH). Michael Bramos is a BEAST!

They may have experience playing; but not with winning - the have had a losig record each of the past three seasons (and of their 14 wins last year, 5 were against teams with 300+ RPIs and two more were above 260).

I guess they have no first year players then if they are the most experienced team in the nation.
Where do you come up with so called facts like that?

If we dont go 14-1 or 13-2 at minimum in non conference we are in trouble.
14 ooc, 10 in conference ... that is the formula.
Anything less with this weak OOC is unacceptable. If we truly are a tournament team we will win @ Toldeo and beat Auburn by 10 on a nuetral court ... and Miami @ home should be another 10 point win.
@ Creighton and Marquette we need to split, the rest we need to win.
No excuses ... they created this monster by not giving us tons of quality opponents, now there is very little room for error.

what if we go 12-4, with a quality win or two (say aub. and creighton) and no horrid losses (delaware or gannon) , then go 11-5 in conference, and beat some quality teams there.
would 23-9 during year, andthen win 3 in a10 not be enough? just putting it out there.
i think the key may be no losing to the bonnies and the gannons, if this scenario played out.

you're correct, i was thinking holy cross (marked that one on calendar last year) , which was sixth game, and Mason was second. We came out tentative on offense, and the big guy in center had huge game andone of their guards -- and they i believe hit EVERY foul shot (21-21?). We made a run to like 5 points, then never really in it. they neither could explode their lead either.
Louville was 8th game, then pitt was like 12th or so. we won 13 in a row, following Mason loss.
i would rank concern games like this.....
creighton
auburn
toledo
marshall
marquette
miami
akron
i don't expect to beat marq, and we've had letdowns with "likes" of toledo/miami/akron in the past.

Schedule updates
11/16 Wofford 7pm-this is from their site and it was just listed yesterday so I assume it is correct. It seems like an odd time for a sunday, but I guess it could be correct
12/23 Marshall 8 pm??? Just guessing on this one due to the fact that the women play at 5:15
1/14 Fordham 7 pm- from their site
These times have been added to my initial post (in peach)

I hope they aren't expecting a large crowd to show up at 7pm on a Sunday night for Wofford. That game time only make sense if they are getting big bucks for TV, and we already know that is not the case. I hope that Dayton confirms the time soon, so I can cancel my vacation day and just stay home.

I agree. That is the dumbest time for a game I have ever seen. I hope there is a good reason for it.

So what time do you want the game to start?
The Ben- Gals play at 1:00 who cares? Go Browns!!! (however if you play then the 50 or so Ben -Gals fans will complain.
So tell us what time the game should be played to make you happy.
I don't care what time it starts because I will be there whenever it is.

I have to agree with John R. Either way I'm going, And if anybody would not go to a 1:00 PM game because of the Bengals. Well that would be sad, your team is no good. Sorry to tell you.
John R and I will be along with 13,000 UD Fans cheering on the Flyers down at the Arena. While you Bengals fans are wishing you were there because Bengals are down 17-0 in the First QTR.

I am saying that 7:00 on a Sunday night is a stupid time for a game. I don't know what you guys are talking about.

Uh. .. . there won't be 13,000 for a 7 pm Sunday game unless they are playing Duke.

Again I have to agree with John R. There may not be 1300 but their will be 12,500+ there. And if you don't decide to come well thats your fault.

Times released in Jetway
The schedule has been updated above--only a few differences mostly some games I had at "7" are actually at "7:30". Also, more 8 pm starts than I've ever seen--this schedule is a parent's nightmare

Now that DaytonFlyers.com has finally updated the times, maybe now they can update the TV schedule.
How many games do you guys think WHIO-TV will broadcast? Do you think they will pick up either Auburn, or Marquette, or Creighton? Will CBS College Sports Regional pick up any OOC games? We need answers lol.

Since you have asked this question before I suggest you call channel 7 and ask them.
