Kinda surprised that they awarded Griffin of St. Bonny with the "Co-Most Improved", at "only" 8.7 PPG & 6.5 RPG. Granted, the Bonnies are a Top 4 Seed in the conference tourney, but Trey went for 11.1 PPG & 5.4 RPG, after playing only 52 minutes last year. Nice improvement there!
No argument with Pipkins of UMass, though. More than doubled his scoring average at 21.1 PPG, after going for 10.2 last year, and he also shot 41.5% from outside the arc (though he did average 3.5 TOs per game).

To have co-MIP's is one thing. For Trey not to be included is a joke.

Team Success Preceedes Individual Recognition
Therefore I believe Josh and Jalen are most fortunate to receive the honors they have achieved.

You guys are missing the fact that many of the season ending awards usually go to the teams that are at the top of the standings because their efforts helped their teams win. The good news is that our players were often seen center stage on TV. The bad news is that our players were often seen center stage laying eggs.
We are 14-16, 8-10, 1-10 away.
It's nice that we recall their good games, but........

Cunningham probably 2nd TEAM if we had performed better.
He also had some low production games later in season. But he's a STUD in my opinion.

Or when there are 14 teams, sometimes there are ties when voting. Not everything is a broader social commentary.

honestly some years some positions are stacked and lend itself toward more guys getting awarded. And fewer guys getting jobbed/robbed.
That said, I'd like to see only 2 teams. First and Second Team all stars chosen.

The guys on 1st Team i pretty much agree with. Never saw George Mason this year and some of the players on the 2nd and 3rd TEam, so hard to say.
