Should be an interesting day. I 'm in my "cave", have the Jets on with the sound muted and getting for the Flyers!

Anybody knows what happened to the "quick reply" button? I no longer seem to have it and it is annoying as he!! not to have that while watching a game.

It seems on D this season BG has just completely taken LW off his ADHD meds, he is all over the place. Even more so than last season.
I really hope B-C doesn't get back on D the rest of the game, this is fun to watch

19-4, second media timeout.
The intensity of this team is amazing. All 12 guys that play bring it every second they're on the floor.

Incredible intensity on the defensive end. London Warren is fabulous at pressuring the ball, but I think everyone is playing VERY hard on the defensive end.
Glad to see, at least for his first stint to start the game, no one will be able to challenge Little's effort today - that guy is playing hard.
Everyone is. I love it.

He's a month behind everyone else because of the foot injury. I think BG is bringing him along slowly. Expect him to play more and more as the OOC schedule progresses.

Pretty impressive first half. Really impressed with searcy's all-around game. nice to see little hitting those free throws... should be a good confidence builder.
Was it a precautionary measure that CW didn't play much at all the final 10 minutes of the half?

CL looked good at the foul line. Overall we're over 80% at the line, and 3-5 from 3pt land.
Defense looks great. I'll bet Bethune feels like we have 7 guys on the floor. CJ's pass interception was awesome. LW hustles like crazy.

Funny, it seems LW is the one playing under control and Lowery looks like he's playing in a pick-up game.

Experimenting with a different look, I think. Interesting CW at one of the guard postions. Interesting.

Anybody else notice that coming our of TOs Bucky is now reading the score properly, instead of bassackwards like he used to do?

Great to see us build a lead and then keep building on it rather than letting the other team back in it

Williams is either hurt or in BG's doghouse big time--walk-ons are in and he isn't?

By far our best game so far in the young season. We need to keep playing like this to compete well in the next three games.
This team has more potential than any other in recent memory.

Anybody knows why PW didn't get to play much? I know he's behind because of the injury, but a lopsided game like this would have been a great opportunity to get him some PT and get him to catch up with the other freshmen on the team. He was supposed to be our best recruit.

I've been wondering that also. Is he still not 100% maybe?
Or is he, as others have said, in the doghouse with BG?

Why did the Bethune-Cookman coach try to press us? That was a really poor decision.
- I am really impressed with Mickey Perry's improved defense. He is looking as good as London and Rob Lowery to me on defense. I love our defense. We are pressuring the ball all the way out to half court, and just making the guy with the ball so uncomfortable. They are just focusing on handling the ball, and not able to see the whole court. It's causing them to make some dumb passes.
- Searcy made some very quick offensive moves. He is getting better and better.
- Luke, keep shooting.
- Mickey, keep shooting
- Chris Johnson, keep shooting.
- Marcus Johnson does a great job of protecting his shot by holding the ball until he flies under it to the other side of the rim. He is just awesome in transition.
- Tough shooting day for Huelsman, but he had a good game.
- Our help defense is just intimidating. We shut off so many opportunities with flying bodies.

I was just checking the box score, and we had 11 players that got at least 13 minutes of playing time.

WOW!!
Great game. A complete performance by the whole team. Charles hitting free throws! Chris Johnson breaking out. Luke getting back up on the horse. I'm totally impressed

Maybe that's their style of play. Why not work on what you do once conference play begins. Probably figures no way to "win" this tournament why not work on what you want to do?

Bethune's Coach kept calling time outs at the strangest times, I thought.

Foul shooting
It seems our foul shooting has much improved from last year. 76% today. Very good.

I really doubt he is 100%. It's not worth playing him up 40 points and risk reaggrevating an injury. Garbage time isn't going to catch him up either.

Chris Johnson: 14 points, and 4 rebounds in only 13 minutes.

Maybe BG remembers what happened with CW last year?, and doesn't want to push it.
But someone stated early in this thread, and I missed it, that Bucky said on the radio that PW hadn't looked good in practice.

Bucky said that PW has a lot of catching up to do after 10 weeks missed in practice. Said that you can't do that as a freshman because reps are so important to those guys. He predicted that PW would be looking good by January.

Crowd
I was thinking the opposite...12,600 for a game against a team like B-C was a great turnout. Did some people leave early...of course people always do. The crowd was great the students were into it and you have to look long and hard to find something negative to say about todays game. GO FLYERS!!!

Tom,
I agree. The crowd was still cheering for the final basket. My nephew brought a friend today and the flyers have added another fan.

I stand corrected. I had to watch the game on the web today, and the impression I got from the few shots of the crowd that they showed, had alot of empty seats.
