Absolutely he should. Obi gave us all he had and more. His play excited us and was highlighted nationally. What happened since could never have been anticipated and one of those cruel things that happen in life.

Obi, Thank you for showcasing your talents and making UD a winning and prominent national program. Go out and receive your rewards which you earned and for which you are entitled.

As a Proud Graduate of the University of Dayton

I am most happy that UD did their job and taught Obi to think. What a great choice he is making for himself and his family. I wish Obi Toppin the best of luck in his professional basketball career. Thanks for the memories.

Although he migh not ever need it, his mom is adamant about education. I hope Obi can find a way to complete his degree at UD. He has a year, maybe a little less left. He will always be a Flyer, but a graduating alum would be special.
