The featured item in the SkyMall magazine on the plane out here was an RC car equipped with an RC squirt gun. Because if you are a grownup who is going to play with a toy intended for an 11 year old, you might as well go all in, am I right?
The line at the taxi stand at McCarren Airport was not unlike those found at “It’s a Small World After All” at Disney World. I told the woman in front of me there better be a killer amusement park ride at the end of this maze. My cabbie informed me that they were expecting 10,000 people to arrive today for a State Farm Insurance convention, which goes a long way in explaining the wait. When the State Farm Actuary Department hits the blackjack tables Las Vegas will never be the same!

Okay, so after 10+ years my memory of Nick’s height wasn’t so great. The point I was trying to make was that Nick was shorter in stature than he appeared to be on

Both guys left after eight years on the job; BG and Tito both did so of their own volition and the lack of locker room chemistry played a large part in their respective decisions. -- The following is one of the scariest things I have ever seen: actual eyewitness film from the tsunami in Japan. Fortunately, the driver of the car, equipped with a dashboard camera, can be seen early-on, wisely abandoning the vehicle and scrambling to safety. Police were able to locate his car later and a video expert retrieved the footage:
