BEVERLY HILLS (MI) — Regular readers of this space will note that “FTS” on occasion will run a piece with nothing but GIF animations in it. Given that there are other forms of videos available, the thought was to expand our horizons a tad to include some of them.

The first is a cameo.

I would love to provide a link to it, but it’s a big honking file that won’t fit here. For those who might not be familiar with cameo, it’s where a celebrity will tape a personal message for you, for a fee. The Younger Swampette got me a cameo for my birthday from this guy:

Yup, that’s former Red Sox “idiot” Johnny Damon. JD thanked me for being a loyal Sawx fan, flashed his 2004 World Series ring and even sang Happy Birthday to me.

Pretty cool.

The next form of entertainment is your basic YouTube video and heck, this one is even semi-basketball related!
